Dolphin Cheat Manager

So I did some sleuthing around the forums and could not find an answer to my question so I will ask here and hopefully someone can enlighten me. I am confused as to how the Cheat Manager is supposed to work. Ok no, I know exactly how it is SUPPOSED to work but I don't understand HOW to get it to work or WHY it isn't working. When I am looking at the AR Codes section I see a heck of a lot of white, empty space and no way to add anything to it. Huh Am I supposed to download some master list or something that would get loaded with the program when it starts? Am I supposed to add each code individually by hand for each individual game? If so, how?

When I am looking at the Gecko Codes tab again I am confronted with a lot of white, empty space with now way of filling it except for a button that says "Download Codes (WiiRD Database)" which doesn't do anything when I click on it. Confused I searched around the forums here and found an outdated guide to the Dolphin emulator that did have a link pertaining to the WiiRD database but upon clicking the link I get a Google 404 error. I have been on the Gecko Codes website and see that there is a way to download both .txt and .gct files for games. Is there a way to get these into the Dolphin program? Thankfully I do know how to use the code search tools so I can perform some rather rudimentary game hack for simple things like money and whatnot but these other problems elude me. I certainly understand that the program is still in development and have prepared for the possibility that these features have not been fully integrated into the system but if they have and someone out there knows where I am going wrong I would be grateful for any advice. Big Grin
