Wiimote Sync Fail after reboot

Hello,

So I used the controller once and it worked just fine. I booted into my computer earlier today to attempt to use the controller again and found that my dongle no longer picks up the controller. I also noticed the little bluetooth icon that used to be at the bottom right screen was no longer there, which is where I went to "add device". I just get a "Searching for devices...Make sure your device is discoverable."

I have spent all day trying various things and googling my problem, but could not find the answer. I have no idea what kind of wiimote I'm using, but it is the kind that has the extra piece that plugs into the bottom if that is of any importance.

So I tried to do the Toshiba stack install but it continuously asks me to plug in my device despite it being in. So that led me nowhere...

I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit. I'm using the latest Dolphin build, as well.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT:

I uninstalled all the dongle related drivers, rebooted and reinstalled hoping to get that bluetooth settings icon back but nothing. I managed to find what dongle I have though;
