I'm guessing this is in the right section, if it should be somewhere else, I'm sorry please move it for me

I've got a Wii U! Anyone else? Fun stuff, right? Can't wait for Fatal Frame! (andeverythingelseannouncedate3)
Anyway- I caught some wind of posts all over the web about soft-modding the V-Wii to run Gamecube Games (and Wii games) on the Wii U's hardware (via usb). Isn't that amazing?!
That's some dope-ass mofo stuff right there if I've ever seen it. 3 consoles in one (not to mention virtual console). I think the Wii U is my new favorite game console. Howabout that?
(Even though it requires some back door shenanigans) Three cheers for Nintendo!
I was about to hop right on that and get going with my 2tb usb3 HDD and everything. However- I have a few (kinda gray) questions if anyone knows better.
It's been a while since I've done any of this kinda stuff to my actual Wii, so I'm a little out of practice- please bear with me
but I haven't lost all of my bearings, so please use fancy terminology ;b
1. I understand, to this point, we cannot get bootmii to function on the Wii-U's V-Wii. This means if I accidentally screw up a step- I'm boned for my V-Wii till someone gets bootmii running on the V-Wii, correct?
2. Nintendo is.. okay with this? As far as I know, the whole Wii-modding situation was handled .. pretty softly by Nintendo, compared to what people tried to do on 3ds as I recall (brickage issued by Nintendo themselves), not to mention Sony and Xbox banhammers, etc.
So since the Wii's updates are kinda over with, we won't need to update the thing either. But with the whole thing being on the Wii U, has Nintendo issued some sort of brickage on Wii Us to disable the V-Wii (or even the whole Wii U?)
I was trying to dig up some dirt on it, but nothing really came up other than the 'lack of bootmii'.
Again, I've done some research, Googling, etc, and haven't found much. I'd guess not too many people have gone ahead to do this yet. But it does work. Flawlessly so far it would seem.
OR- Should i just drop this whole thing, and continue using Dolphin instead? heh.
Ehm.. or should I just take this post to a different forum that specializes in this junk? (I'd prefer not to, since I've only got an account here anyway- but I'll do if I have to :b )
Hey! Thanks for reading
