Second attempt at trying to get a word in here. Maybe the moderator wouldn't approve my post because I provided too much information. I'll be more brief this time.

Dolphin emulator lags when I stream with obs. It's fine when I'm not streaming. CPU and GPU each never exceed 50% when streaming dolphin so I don't think my build is too under-powered. Using a Ryzen 2700 and RTX 2070. Any way to get better performance when using dolphin and OBS at the same time? Dolphin lags when streaming regardless of how low I set OBS settings

Going to be a long shot but I have an A4 6300 3.7ghz (2core), someone offered to give me an AMD athalon II 2.8ghz (4 core) the A4 has a higher single core speed but was just curious if it would be an upgrade also can anyone recommend me a motherboard/ Intel CPU in the price range of 150-200. Thank you

As the subject states, I have an Ubuntu PPA that builds Dolphin from latest official sources daily for Ubuntu Disco, Eoan, and the in-development Focal (20.04).

No changes made to official sources.

Some of my games are locked mapped to buttons, for instance, MARIO64 is jammed mapped to jump and camera switch to the right XBOX360 trigger even when I clear it or load a controller profile, this has happened before to another game. Is there anything I can do to fix this? This is absolutely crazy. Thanks.

I'm able to do 720p and a good amount of games remain playable. I did notice opengl seems to work much better than vulkan. Just wondering if there are any tips or tricks to get 720p with AF and/or AA. Or 1080p?

I have a phone with Snapdragon 855. I've been able to get Punch-Out for Wii running great @ 720p, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing.

I'm having issues even at the lower base resolution for Mario Sunshine and Zelda Windwaker. I just wanted to know if there's anything I can do to possibly improve performance? I see there's an option to overclock what the console cpu speed is, is this effective at all and around what percentage is recommended? Sorry if this has been asked before. I searched around the board and didn't really find much about this. I'm new to emulation on android, but have used dolphin on PC for a while.

In my last post here I asked about getting Silent Hill Shattered Memories working on Dolphin… and with alot of help from a member here I now have it working perfect! Thanks to you if you’re reading this

Just one thing though… I can’t help it, I just so much prefer having my games as icons on my desktop and double-clicking on them to run them just like they were PC games. For years I did this by entering the following into a new shortcut and it always worked no issues at all…

(Path to dolphin.exe) -b -e (path to ISO)

However now that I’ve upgraded from Dolphin 5.0 to 5.0-10993 (that’s how I got SH SM working) every time now when I try to launch from the icon I made, I get audio but no picture whatsoever (like not black screen… I mean I continue to see my desktop and then the audio of the game comes on)

When that happens, most times pressing Esc still brings up the “Do you really want to stop the current emulation”… however sometimes it doesn’t, which leaves me no choice but to restart my PC… at which time it always comes up with something interesting and perhaps could have something to do with this (or maybe not – I am NOT tech savvy at all) – “Confirm is preventing you from restarting. Proceed anyway?”


My PC specs (incase needed)

Operating System : Windows 10 Home x64
SSD : Samsung 960 Evo M.2 250GB NVMe
Motherboard : ASRock Z390 Pro4
CPU : i5-9400F @ 2.9GHz
GPU : Gigabyte GTX1060 G1 Gaming

isos and rom sites that have Nintendo roms or isos are closed. so how do i get roms? do i have to buy a game? if i do then it would be impossible  because my computer doesn't do CD roms.

I am playing Mario Kart Wii via Wiimmfi for years now and recently I had to reset my PC and I needed to wait 7 days again before my console got verified. Now after 7 days, I tried to connect and Dolphin instantly crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi guys, today I bought the Mayflash Sensor DolphinBar to play SMG1 and 2, Skyward Sword and other games with my WiiMote and, eventually, the MotionPlus.
I set the bar, it sync perfectly with the WiiMote but doesn't work on Dolphin. I'm using the latest Dev, I tried the old ones and got the same problems.

I cannot start the game without unplug the Nunchuk because If I do that, Dolphin prompt me that WiiMote get disconnected when I start the game.
If I plug the Nunchuk after this, the player go crazy like walking in every way or stop walking at all. So I've to unplugged again, Refresh the bar from Settigns and plugged in. After 4 seconds, same problem.

I've two WiiMote and 3 nunchuk, I got the problem with all of this. The same problem.
WTF is wrong with this Dolphin Bar?

What are the best graphics settings for the Radeon RX 580? I recently upgraded my computer and my Dolphin's graphics settings were still set up for my old GT 730. What should they be set to for the best experience?

Need help mapping my DS4. I’m playing Madden NFL 2003 using a DS4 PlayStation controller. All the buttons work correctly but the left analog stick does not move the player fluidly. Particularly the Up Y Axis input, which registered as (Y-) and the Right X Axis input, which registered at (X+) as I mapped this controller.

I mapped it under DInput/0/Wireless Controller based on various tutorials I viewed on YouTube and the XInput/1/Gamepad did not function at all.

If anyone can suggest what’s causing these unbalanced inputs let me know.

If I can make a little more sense, it’s almost not registering the input, I almost cannot move the player on these inputs mentioned. It’s sluggish or the input is not fully engaging. Maybe the emulator doesn’t like DS4 with this game idk ?

Hey guys,

I've been having this issue for as long as I've had an xbox one controller. No matter what I do, I cant seem to get rumble working with it on any dolphin game. Not even the test works. However, the rumble does work on everything else (steam games, console).

I used to have an xbox 360 wireless controller, and rumble worked fine with dolphin on that one. I don't have it anymore though...


If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Just installed Dolphin and tried to play PBR just now, the graphics load fine but noticed that there aren't any sound at all? Audio Setting is completely blocked out without anyway for me to adjust it.

Also, I set the control to Keyboard, but that did nothing either...is it not possible to use keyboard?

I'm using mouse and keyboard controlls to play Legend and Zelda Skyward Sword and the pointer won't go to the entire screen. Even when my mouse (which I forgot didn't record) goes outside the screen, it still doesn't do anything.

The minimap in twilight princess is a black square - I'm running the latest development android build and I've already turned on "Defer EFB copies to RAM" and set the texture cache accuracy to high as per the suggestions in other threads. I'm using vulkan.

I read devices with snapdragon 845 (or 8xx...?) may run Zelda games, such as Twilight Princess, not at full speed but at "acceptable" FPS.

But in Skyward Sword case, even if the above were true, there's still the issue with the Wii motion plus controls.
Do you think it's possible to somehow sort out controls for Zelda SS on Android devices today, or is it just the same story as for desktop?

Using dolphin version 5.0 - 11038 and when editing inputs, graphics, controls, and anything inside of the emulator it will lock up and completely crash forcing me to force-quit the application. If i try to normally X out of the application it locks up and crashed, Is anyone Else having this issue or is some element of Dolphin 32bit that causes it to have issues in Mac OSX 10.15. Thank you!
