Hi thanks for checking out my issue.
I am using Dolphin 4.0.2 64bit
Dolphin works perfectly fine although whenever I attempt to connect my controllers Dolphin stops responding.
When I start up the latest version of WiinuPro (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwihismVtNXKAhWM5SYKHdQ6DAsQFggdMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wiinupro.com%2F&usg=AFQjCNGqL4m-0Is3FsFCODAqxlftc42oGw&sig2=-d_uhtCxG2Vqo71uvhnLUQ) or Usendmii (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi8l6qotNXKAhWDSyYKHVVzDfUQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwiiubrew.org%2Fwiki%2FUsendMii&usg=AFQjCNFJCCWatKk5KzG-Rc8_n-ustE7y-Q&sig2=70f5Kr3WVSyE2WxPTztRsQ&bvm=bv.113034660,d.eWE) dolphin just stops working entirely LITERALLY until stop running either WiinuPro or Usendmii. Hi I have just installed dolphin emu on my computer and attempted to play super mario galaxy 2 but can't get past the intro without the audio and speed of the graphics messing up. I have tried what I feel are all combinations in the setting configurations but nothing is working flawless. Everything I've tried either makes the speed slower or the audio worse. Please help.

Would it be possible to somehow construct an .iso homebrew?

There are tons of Wii Homebrews floating around, and I have a Wii myself but I can't be bothered to mod it, I've got Dolphin 4 on my nVIDIA SHIELD Android TV, and I'd be interesting in playing some on there...

Does anyone think it'd be possible to patch homebrew files on to a game .iso file for use in a Dolphin Emulator?
Thanks Tongue Exclamation

will there be support for 21:9 monitors???

I got a 21:9 monitor last year and they are awesome! although getting official support for all games has been rather difficult.  Is there a chance the dolphin team will add 21:9 support in future iterations???

Hi, so I am trying to get the controllers right to play this game fully, but I'm not managing to get all the parts right here.
The controller I'm using is an Xbox One controller and this is emulating the Wii.

What I am not getting is how to get this combination right with the control options, anyone have any insight on this?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Here is my current controls:

4.XX vs. 5.0 RC

Hi there. First off, I apologise if this has been posted or asked previously....Been trying unsuccessfully to find the answer on my own, but to no avail. I am currently running V5 RC35 and for the few games I actually play at my age, everything seems to run ok. My question is about the versions themselves. RC35 seems to be the latest of version 5 that I can find. Even then I had to dig through Google to find it. "Download" up here at the top only takes you to V4.XX builds and I'm not sure why. I am also a little confused as to why the dev builds of V4 are more up to date (as of wrtiing this, the latest is only a little less than 2 days old), whereas V5.0 hasn't seemed to have a release in over 3 months. Can someone please explain this to me? Am I better off downgrading to V4 in order to be more up to date? Is there a different dev list where I can find later versions of 5.0? I'm very new to Dolphin and am trying to learn a bit more about it. Thanks!

Hello guys,

I plan on installing the homebrew channel on my old wii, so i can finally rip my old games for dolphin usage.
Now i wonder if there are any limitation what SD cards are compatible with the wii and CleanRip.

It would be nice if someone could post an Amazon link to a working one so i can order it Smile

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Will this one work, for example? Yes or No to this one as answer in enough ;D

I have found some interesting GS codes for N64 games that are global, but at different locations per game.

They can be exploited to even make shader stutters not happen (GLideN64 without storage) and also make load times non-existant.
Also at the cost of desynced audio in some spots of games, like Super Smash Bros. 64 on the intro.

The codes I found are called "Half Frames" but can be used at extreme levels.
The way the codes work,is that they overcompensate the game speed, which is technically running at a thousand VI/s and 1 real fps according to 1964 testing, and as a result,it magnifies the loading speeds including how fast shaders are used, thus making shaders no longer stutter since they are oddly loaded extremely fast.
Internally,it is running at a fraction of 1fps or a fraction of 1DL/s.

First, the Super Smash Bros. code which makes loading non-existant!

8003D553 007F
8003D583 007F

Set to an extreme value for the most instant loading speed possible as seen on Mupen64Plus AE using GLideN64. (2.0 variant at least)

Here is one for Paper Mario (U) which is the most obvious one that stutters, because it happens during an action command for the first time at boot, and lasts almost an entire second.

80095973 0020
800959A3 0020

Using 20 makes it stronger while being more cpu intensive, works best on Mupen64Plus AE with Audio sync disabled.
The PJ64 emulator either has its own stuttering issue,or my computer sucks so much that it can't benefit from it because it still gets stutters with the code on,even with Rice as the plugin.
PJ64 needs audio synced in the audio plugin and "Limit FPS" disabled in order to work right.

That's good about Mupen64Plus AE since I need cheats mainly for Dolphin on Android to hopefully get rid of the stuttering.

I am incapable of serching for it myself for various reasons including crappy hardware obsoleted by later versions of Dolphin and very limited debug features compared to PJ64's memory viewer and memory search.

Now,the request,I was hoping someone could debug what these codes do on N64 emulation so they can find an equivalent code for a few games primarily Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and give info on how to find it for other games if possible.
The Metroid Prime series may greatly benefit from this if codes were found for them.
The most common value in 32bits on N64 RDRAM is 0x00190001 but sometimes will be different.

Curious if Paper Mario in N64 virtual console stutters on Dolphin, and if a port of the code actually makes it no longer stutter.

Possible GPU Problem?

Okay let me start out by saying this is the first time I've attempted newer emulations (as opposed to, say, those of PSX or GBA) so I apologize in advance for any obvious noobery.

Currently I'm trying to run Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen (Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse) using Dolphin (v4.0.2, x64 bit), but I seem to be having issues with both graphics and audio lagging, along with audio stuttering. I've messed around with the config and graphics tabs, but so far no luck. In fact, the only progress I have made is having the audio running relatively smoothly when using an older version of Dolphin (v3.5, x64 bit) instead, but the graphics still lag and are way out of sync with the audio. I've tried this with two other games (Project Zero 2: Wii Edition and Disaster: Day of Crisis) with the same results so I'm thinking it's a GPU issue?

I've read that both Intel processors and graphics cards are okay to use, as long as they're of a certain type but I'm not sure whether mine qualify.

My PC specs are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 10 x64 bit
Processor/CPU: Intel® Celeron® CPU N3150 @ 1.60GHz
Video Card/GPU: Intel® HD Graphics
Memory/RAM: 4.00 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.0.2

If anyone can offer any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it! I read up on the rules of the hardware section so I hope I'm doing this properly - if not, I'm sorry for the mistake!

MAC Controls Not Working - Dolphin 4.0-8854

I'm also having problems, I have an xbox one controller with the necessary driver (which shows its working fine) but I have no response from the Dolphin GameCube Controllers Configuration menu.

Port 1 - Standard Controller
Configure Menu - Input/0/X360Controller (No Response)

I have also tried to use the keyboard with no luck, but this time I get a response from the Configure Menu.

Port 1 - keyboard
Configure Menu - keyboard/0/Apple Extended USB Keyboard (I have a Response)

Start Game (GameCube Game) but have no response from the Keyboard

I'm a little disappointed because I thought this would be one of the fundamental parts of the emulator that would have no problems working, joypad yes, maybe a little teething problems but having keyboard problems like this seems very bad.

thanks in advance for any help

GC controllers not working

So, i'm trying to get my Gc controller to work via wii u adapter with my dolphin emulator, but though all of the ports are showing up, no inputs actually are registered when I move the sticks or press the buttons or anything. No matter which port I choose, the controller doesn't register, it shows up perfectly in my usb settings but not in dolphin.

Low fps on Tales of Symphonia?

I've messed quite a bit with the settings and just can't figure out what's causing this, the fps is fluctuating a lot between 35~50 with some more drastic drops to low 20s even at native resolution. Changing the DSP Emulator Engine to LLE recompiler oddly seems to do the biggest performance hit, making the game run at sub 20. Other than Symphonia I've also tested Twilight Princess and Wind Waker and both are working just fine with stable fps. Any suggestions?

NES games don't render on OS X

If I try to play a NES game on OS X, it shows this picture.[Image: gwUtyOs.png]No matter what changes in graphics settings I make, the issue persists. This same picture appears in all the NES games I have (Super Mario Bros, SMB: The Lost Levels and SMB 2). It seems like another "bad driver" issue, as people say. It's only the video that's problematic, audio and input work fine. This happens with NES games ONLY. Other console games render normally and I'm talking about Sega Master System, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Turbografx16, SNES and N64 games. Sonic & Knuckles also renders perfectly, even though there were some builds that it did, later it didn't and now it does again.
I tested using the 4.0-8863 build. The reasons I report this now and not before are:
• I've search and I didn't find any similar threads
• In the January progress report, we are asked to report bugs, before 5.0 stable is released.
However, there's a chance this is impossible to fix, such as other rendering issues that I've encountered on OS X, such as Stereoscoping 3D not working (https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-does-stereoscopic-3d-work-on-os-x), water surfaces not rendering properly (https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-opengl-water-effects).

I noticed that the above screenshot shows the same thing as a screenshot in the second link I gave above.
Compare it with this:
Isn't it the same picture repeated over and over?
