There;s this one little issue that bothers me in my favorite mario game series, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. Whenever you hit one of the bosses a couple times, they let out this scream effect that's missing in Dolphin. Dolphin only shows it as a darker shade around their mouth. Is there any plans to address this?

Super Paper Mario not accepting input
I tried to play Super Paper Mario again, some years after I last played it and I noticed that out of all my games, this is the only one that doesn't accept any input at all! No matter what I press, it doesn't respond. I first tried it on 5.0-1331 on Windows 10 and noticed this. Then I tried 5.0-1325 on macOS Sierra and it happens there too.
I tried changing settings, like the backend on Windows, or turning Dual-Core off, but nothing changed. I also checked my controls multiple times, I opened other games and they were acceping input just fine.
And before I try redumping, I tested 5.0 stable on macOS and it happens there as well. After that, I tried 4.0-205 and I saw something I didn't expect. It worked fine there, the game accapted input! It seems to me that the issue lies in Dolphin and not my game file, so I won't redump for now (I could still be wrong though). Does anyone else have this problem? If you are reading this and you own Super Paper Mario, try it on 5.0 or any newer build. Does this happen to you?

The State of GCZ
I was wondering what the concensus is on using GCZ lately. I recall that there used to be some games that required GCZ to avoid certain timing bugs, while other games wouldn't work at all if you used GCZ. Have any developments with GCZ in terms of speed or compatibility happened during the transition from the Dolphin 4.0 - 5.0 era? Is using GCZ recommended, discouraged, or still somewhere in between these days?
Similarly, is CISO any better or worse than GCZ? AFAIK CISO keeps the original 32K alignment of games, while GCZ uses 16K alignment, which I've read can be problematic for some games that expect certain files to be at certain offsets.
*edit*
I guess CISO isn't actually compressed, so it's not really a fair comparison.

Why Does This Game Work, But Not That One??
Yes, I know enough to realize that different games will have different requirements, or will run at a different speed, or be more difficult to emulate, etc. The thing is, this one doesn't make any sense.
I got two different games to play with my family. I got "Fortune Street" after seeing a Let's Play of it, and it looked like something my family would enjoy, since they generally like board games. I also managed to get "Xenoblade Chronicles", which was more of a game that I wanted to play myself, but I figured I'd let my little brother try it out, since he likes trying new kinds of games.
Tried getting Fortune Street to work. Had to set the in-game settings to the fastest possible animation speed, and turn the volume all the way down on the TV in order to play the game. It ran rather slowly, and the music was painful to try and listen to. Even so, it was still playable, and we had fun.
Later, I set up Xenoblade Chronicles for my little brother. Had very little expectations that it would work after seeing how Fortune Street ran, knowing how extensive the game would probably be in comparison, and warned him at length that the game may not work well, and that he could play something else if he wanted. He still wanted to try it, so I fired it up.
Strangely enough, it started running at full speed. Confused, I dipped into the settings and upped the resolution, since it had been turned down in an attempt to get Fortune Street working better. Xenoblade still went at full speed. I admit, there were times that there was a touch of lag when there was a lot going on on-screen, but I had to actually look for it to notice, and my little brother didn't seem to notice or care.
Having seen Fortune Street, I don't see what there is to that game that would make it difficult to emulate. It's a virtual board game, with not a lot going on at any particular time. Xenoblade Chronicles ran exceptionally, even with boosted resolution, with long-distance views and actual action during battle.
I'm a bit curious as to why the seemingly less-extensive game would run worse than the game that I had heard was supposed to be pushing the Wii to its limits. Could anybody explain this to me?

Gecko Codes crashing super mario sunshine
The game runs fine without any cheat applied, however the second I enable any code, the game will freeze after a couple minutes. It will either give me a IntCPU: Unknown instruction error, or the game will stop with no error and loop whatever audio was last playing. mainly trying to get the 60fps and wide-screen patch working. is there a better way to achieve 60fps?
EDIT: With only the 60fps gecko code enabled I only get the error "IntCPU: Unkown instruction 00000000 at PC = 803ba344 last_PC = 81200d60 LR = 802fccec" instead of a non error freeze
EDIT 2: Same result with every game on dolphin using Gecko codes. tried reverting every over clock I had, running dolphin and the game on 4 different HDD's and one SSD, updated my bios and chipset drivers, tried 3 different gpu drivers and using DDU to clean install each time, updated every driver I could think of from Realtek audio to lan drivers. Ran mem test, seatools, stress tested my gpu and cpu which resulted in no errors and tried a vast array of different setting in dolphin, including every video/audio back end. I re-dumped my game files in case they got corrupted somehow. I tried titanfall 2, witcher 3, bf1, and prince of persia: the sands of time, all of which went without a hitch. I even tried CEMU, which shockingly now runs considerably better for me then dolphin....I'm at a total loss. never have I had tech problems this persistent, especially not for one program...Starting to think its a curse, because logic is seemingly non existent in this scenario.

Experiencing Slowdown When In Full Screen
I am having major slowdown issues when I switch to full screen. In windowed mode I keep a constant 30fps when playing Gamecube games and 60fps when playing Wii games. But in full screen mode I drop down to about 15fps on gamecube games and about 30fps on Wii games. I am using the latest drivers for my video card, so I know that is not the issue. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

With the i7 6700k for Dolphin. Is there limitations still? Will be getting a 7700k
I will be building a new pc that will have a 7700k processor when it comes out in January and a 1070. Will I have any problems playing Wii and Gamecube games in 4k with max graphics? Are there still games that don't run well no matter what hardware you will have? Or will some of them still not run full speed with everything cranked due to cpu limitations?

Is Micro-stuttering always present
Hi - I'm looking to get into Dolphin and want to play Mario galaxy 1&2, Skyward sword, Metroid Prime, Rogue leader and others.
Is micro stuttering always present in these games to some degree or is there a way to run them absolutely as smoothly and faultlessly as the original hardware? I don't mind a stutter if it's rare but if a game stutters often it might put me off.
Thanks

Real Nunchuk issue with control stick.
Most things are working fine with this emulator. My wii-mote connects via bluetooth and works fine on Windows 10, but when I try to play a game like Super Mario Galaxy which requires the nunchuck, it WILL recognize the device and let me enter the game, but in game, the control stick appears to be improperly configured. When nothing is held down, it will go one direction. Some directions either stop or change Mario's course, but not in the proper directions. My wii-mote is one that is officially licensed, and I have tried 2 different official nunchucks, giving me the same problem. Is there any way to configure or patch/fix the nunchuk to work properly with the real wii-mote?

I'm not expecting it to. I just needed a okay laptop for college and this one came bundled with a lot of stuff. In about 5 months though I want to get another one. Is their one I can get for $2500 or less that can Dolphin almost perfectly? Can someone provide links to a good one from USA websites.

Dolphin slowing down
My Dolphin syncronizes the fps of the game with the in-game time, and this is very annoying because when the framerate drops the game time does too. Is there a way to lock the game speed?

Dolphin doesn't recognize OpenGL?
Good day, i have a problem with Dolphin 5.0
When i initiate a game with OpenGL this message appears.

and
http://imgur.com/QOwRR1k
i heard that intel graphics has this problem with OpenGL versions, but mine seems to have the required OpenGL version.
http://imgur.com/1NP9Hy1
And the first time i installed dolphin i didn't change anything and everything was fine, the only change i did was an update of Windows 10 and today Dolphin gave me this error, i already updated the intel drivers but the problem persist, others emulators which use OpenGL seems to run fine except dolphin, there is a solution for this or is an error caused by the Windows update?. If there is no fix i can still use Direct3D but it kinda annoys me that it worked just fine before and not now.

Dolphin 5.0 lags computer
I am experiencing what seems to be an unusual problem that I can't find a fix for. My pc runs really well when I start it up and I can be on for hours without any problems, but if I start up a game on dolphin then the entire system lags. From this point until I restart the computer opening up a web page, configuring dolphin, or just about anything takes minutes and not seconds like it did normally. I tried reinstalling dolphin, I tried deleting every trace of dolphin off the drive and reinstalling and I checked the task manager and I can't find any reason why it should be doing this. Here are my computer specs.
OP: Windows 10 64 bit
Processor: i5-4690K
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Geforce GTX 960
HD: 1TB
I'm pretty sure it's an installation problem, but I don't know how I could fix it.
