SMS Crashes in Delphino(60fps,widescreen)

[Ishiiruka] I've been trying to play SMS with 60fps in 1920x1080 in widescreen 16:9, along with 4k textures (scaled down by 33%) but everytime I go to Delphino Plaza after I load my save the game just crashes!

Please help (I'm pretty new to dolphin).

Games in 3d

I'd like to play some games in 3d, but I don't know which type of glasses should I take. I want to play with glasses so I have to choose the anaglyph option. When I point my mouse on the stereoscopic option it says that I need the red and blue glasses, but I'm not sure about that. Is it red and blue or red and cyan? And can someone explain me the differefence between these two? Thank you very much

Nunchuk not connecting

So I was trying to play Super Mario Galaxy with a real wiimote mixed with the emulated IR sensor, but the nunchuk does not connect. This only happens when I use the Hybrid Wiimote function. This issue is not particular to Super Mario Galaxy because I tested it with other games. Everything works fine except the nunchuk. Any ideas?

Could anyone please help me with a few things. I've configured the wiimote or so I thought, but when I try to start a game it either says connect nunchuck on some games or it says connect controller. I go the the wiimote screen and press refresh. It says disconnecting controller then it says its connected but it keeps saying hold down button 1 and 2 together to connect and I can't get out of that screen??

Thanks guys i'm sure one of you can help. Also I'm using n X-Box 360 wired controller.

If anyone has any X-Box controller profiles I can import that would also be brill!! Wink

To install Download the Rar folder and extract the folder (GS8E7D) into Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures.
Or if your portable put into User\Load\Textures.


Also make sure under graphics tab then advanced tab that you have ticked Load custom textures and Prefetch Custom Textures.

MacOS Steam - Adding Dolphin?

Hello,

I'm hoping for some tips or guidance with adding Dolphin to Steam in OS X.

I've done this in windows before, adding the path name with /e at the beginning, and /b at the end. But on OS X, adding /e in target after the apps path makes the emulator crash on launch. Adding anything in target does this.

So what am I doing wrong here?

Hello folks,

I've emulated mostly Gamecube games in the past, and I figured I would try out Skyward Sword. I've purchased a Wii Remote Plus, and had trouble connecting it normally as it seems to be the TR variant.

 I decided to give Bluetooth pass through a try. I have a Bluetooth module inside my computer, simply listed on zadig as "Intel® Wireless Bluetooth®".

After installing the WinUSB driver onto it, I restarted my computer and attempted to configure passthrough in Dolphin.

Passthrough does not seem to be a menu option, and after I have deleted and reinstall dolphin on its newest full release, I cannot seem to figure out why. After going into my dolphin.ini file, I saw that there was no [Bluetooth Passthrough] or any variants in the file. I found a forum poster who posted their config file that had it and added it to mine, which did not help at all. They also said if dolphin did not recognize my adapter, that I should put in it's respective USB IDs into the config file. Still no help.

I hope that this is something silly I've overlooked, and it is a simple fix.  I've gone ahead and ordered a Bluetooth adapter in hopes that it is that, but truth be told I have no idea.

Using wii classic controller for Gamecube games

I'm trying to use a WiiU fight pad controller with a Wiimote plus, which as far as I can tell, is the same exact thing as a wii classic controller. What is the best way of getting this controller set up as a gamecube controller?

So far, I have tried installing cwiid and using wminput and/or wmgui, but both refuse to connect to the wiimote at all. It just says that it can't find any wiimotes, whether it is already paired with the OS or not. xwiishow will show the wiimote if it is paired with the OS, but it doesn't seem to support this controller extension.

Playing games that don't have support for game cube controllers

Hi guys! I've been wanting to play the Newer Super Mario Bros mod converted to an iso with Dolphin. That works all fine and dandy but I want to play with my friends. Netplay only lets me play with GameCube controllers or controllers emulated to be a GameCube controller. Non modded Mario Bros needs the Wiimote for the shake function. Any ideas how I can play games that need the specialized functionality of the Wiimote on netplay? Thanks Big Grin

No sound while streaming emulator from PC to iPAD

Guys,
I am using Windows 10 Pro-64 bit, Core i7 4770 (8 GB RAM), Dolphin 5.0.

I also have the iPAD Pro 9.7 with the last iOS version. I downloaded this program (free and official app, from the App Store):

Then I changed Windows settings to allow my iPAD to connect to my PC, which uses my name+password and the IP 192.168.8.144.

OK, I did all this to stream contents from the PC to the iPAD.

I checked here with the PSX emulator, and it's working. No lags, and I get sound.

I also tried with ZSNES (SNES emulator, but had problems with the video, always having a Direct3D error, that I couldn't fix). Tried later with the emulator BSNES, and it worked, provided I turn off the option Synchronize video.

When I log into my PC (from this iPAD app) the PC is unavailable unless I log in again, but doing that disconnects the iOS app.

I also confirmed that any Youtube video playing in my PC can be seen/heard in the iPAD.

As for Dolphin, here's the thing...

I can stream all games (the video) to my iPAD.

But there's no sound. And of course you can't hear a thing in the PC headphones, because the iPAD is being used. And after I disconnect the iPAD the PC continues to be muted. Meaning that streaming anything will automatically disable the sound and the only way to turn it on is to restart Dolphin.

I know you are probably going to say that you don't know a thing about how this app works, but...

How is it possible that only Dolphin is presenting this bug?

And I can't be sure, but I am positive that the streaming from Dolphin worked before, with full sound. Perhaps something has been broken and I can't see it?

And all games I tested have this behaviour.

I am frustrated with this, because it is the best way for me to play games, since I use the iPAD (not the PC) most of the time.

Digimon World 4 on Netplay - Strange Model Flickering

So I've recently introduced two of my friends to Dolphin Netplay, and they've both fallen in love with it, and we're very excited to play a lot of our favourite games together, and we've been taking turns with different games.

Today was my second friend's turn to choose what to play, and he chose Digimon World 4, and we all agreed- everything seemed fine at first, but when we first hit gameplay, we got... this.

Upon seeing this, I immediately tried to fix this problem, thinking it had to do with some sort of graphics problems, but unfortunately, it wasn't workable, so I had to save it to work on later.

Upon trying to fix it later, I found out that it didn't happen at ALL offline- it seems to only be a problem on Netplay, and we all have the problem. Interestingly, only one of the models actually look normal, every other model is completely glitched out for some odd, bizarre reason.

We are all using Dolphin 5.0-1311, and we all make sure we have the same exact settings and the exact same preferences aside from the Adapters for each of our computers- I'm rather surprised that this is a problem ONLY with Netplay (from what I can tell).

I've searched online as much as I can, but the only thing I've heard of so far for this game's issues was Screen Flickering, and I think this classifies as a different issue from that. This seems more like the models are being broken over and over.

Dolphin crashes after some minutes for no reason

I recently downloaded Dolphin 5.0, but every time I opened it I had the same problem: after a few minutes, no matter what I actually did with the program, I got a "Dolphin.exe has stopped working" message and Dolphin crashed. Even if I didn't start a game and just left the program open for some minutes without doing anything at all, it crashed. For those few minutes before the crashes, everything seemed to be working fine though: I could run Wii and Gamecube games on a stable FPS rate - for three minutes anyway. I then uninstalled Dolphin 5.0 and tried downloading 4.0.2. At first, everything seemed to be working fine. I played the opening segment of Metroid Prime and Xenoblade Chronicles without a problem. The next time I opened Dolphin, however, the crashes came back. I tried different versions since then, always with the same result - they crash after two or three minutes, without me even loading a game.

I'm running the program on a laptop (maybe that's the problem?)
Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 -6500U 2.5GHz (It's a dual core)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 940M (2GB vram)
OS: Windows 10 x64
RAM:4 GB DDR3

Does anyone know a fix for this or at least what the issue is?

(btw I'm new to this forum so if I made any formal mistakes please tell me!)
