Dolphin running slower at 1.5x+ native resolution since Build 1803

The title explains everything. Whatever game I throw at at 1.5x - 2x IR (i.e Mario Kart Wii/Double Dash, Mario Sunshine) tends to struggle trying to reach full speed and runs much slower than it usually ran before this update. Updating and rolling back GPU drivers didn't do much at all to improve performance. I don't think this issue has to do something with overheating, since idle temperatures are around 55C. Running Dolphin brought the temperatures up to a 70-95C range. Is there a possible fix for this, or am I stuck having to play at 1x IR forever?

Since noone has replied to my post before, I've tried to bypass the problem by downloading a save file for the games, which leads me to another problem, how can i access this save file? Where is the memory card setting? Is it necessary to create the memory card file by in-game saving first? I searched about this but all the results are for PC, not android.

My problem earlier is regarding the urbz, on create-a-sim crash. The game runs smoothly up until the creating sims which crash the game (returned to the dolphin menu). I have no idea about emulation so any help is appreciated!

Problem with audio in and settings.

So I primarily use Dolphin Ishiiruka for emulation. But I need to go back to Dolphin 5.0 for to load a certain hack. But for some reason, the audio doesn't come in and I CAN'T change it in Dolphin 5.0. Only in Ishiiruka. Is there a way to fix this as I would like to test it out.

Ok so, what is easier to solve?

Version 5 has this problem:

Ok so middle right portion of the screen has this horizontal line that is like 3 inches you can clearly see and it's on every screen except menus and door opening animations.

Current development version doesn't have the line, but has this music problem - it glitches, disappears, reappears randomly etc.

What of these 2 is solvable and how?

ps: For first problem I tried every graphics mode (Open GL, DX 11, DX 12) and it's the same (my graphics card is RX 480). For second I tried every sound option available in plugins... it's all just the same. Problems persist in both cases.

Some games don't start when 'select' is pressed

Heya! I'm brand new to this forum so forgive me if I do something wrong (for example, if this is supposed to go in the controller thread, then I'm really sorry for the inconvenience). My problem is that Super Monkey Ball 2 goes past the start screen perfectly fine when it asks me to press select, but Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Luigi's Mansion all stay stuck no matter how many buttons I press. I'm using an Xbox One controller, and everything seems to be configured correctly - "select" is mapped to "select," and yes, I'm definitely pressing the right button. They all ask me to press "select," not "A" or something like that, so that's not the problem. I'm not changing the mapping between games, so it's not like Luigi's Mansion is looking for a different button than Super Monkey Ball 2. Also, I'm running Dolphin 5.0. Any ideas why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Thanks in advance!

I've spent the last few days working on an HD Texture mod for the Temple stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

I may do more HD Texture mods in the future, and if I do, I'll post them in this thread.

A lot of the textures in Temple HD come from Smash 4, with the rest being custom spliced from Smash 4 textures.

I found out why Mario Sunshine crashes on Vulkan!

I was wondering if it had to do with shader compilation issues and it turned out that it was and how i found this out was by playing through a few stars on DX11 then quitting out and going to Vulkan and the game worked! but when i cleared my shader cache the crash would occur 100% of the time. Is this a driver issue?

Cannot connect Wiimote

According to Windows 10, I have successfully connected my Wiimote (RVL-CNT-01) via Bluetooth, however when I check the devices in the control panel the icon for it is strangely transparent, although it does not show any error message. When I try to connect it with Dolphin, it does nothing. The only thing I can see being a problem is the old Bluetooth USB stick that I'm using, but it seems to be working fine. The Wiimote shows no signs of being connected to anything.

I'm currently experimenting with dolphin 5.0-8223 on Android through my Samsung S8+.

Gamecube emulation has worked perfectly up until yesturday afternoon, I was playing through super smash melee & all of a sudden the game crashed.
I've been unable to boot the game since then & being trying to diagnose the problem since.

The error message I got was "Failed to get pipeline for backend shader draw" which from what I can see is linked to Vulkan.
I have an idea of what the issue is but I'll mention what I did to get to where I am.

I know whenever I edit the settings, settings are saved to INI files. This remains consistent through every emulation I have tried on the 5.0-8223 application.
However, highlight a game & try to change the "GFX Settings" & now the settings are saved to "GALE01"

the problem so far is that none of the settings on "GALE01" is saving properly. The video Backend remains on OpenGL even though I set it to vulkan & no new settings are being saved.
My default settings are set for Vulkan but the game settings can't be changed from "OpenGL" from the GFX settings  Undecided

Is it possible that these 2 (what I assume are .INI files) are conflicting each other?  Huh
I am only having this problem with the one game, everything else seems to be working fine. I'm worried in the future though this bug may jump onto other saved settings

I have no idea what is happening. The game would run whenever I would open it a few months ago. I haven't touched dolphin for a while given that I have been busy. I was looking through my computer files to clear up some space on my computer. I couldn't find my copy of zelda and then I found it and wanted to test to ensure it was the right file. It does have a familiar file size which is insane... I tested it and dolphin would open it and leave me with nothing displayed. I do hope there is a way to fix this.

Fortune Street controls not working?

Fortune Street appears to not work anymore, for some reason. Dolphin detects that I'm pressing the 2 button in the control config menu, and the game works until the menu. I can skip past the logos and such, but then when the menu comes up, it no longer detects the 2 button press, despite dolphin still saying it should work.

im trying to use the vulkan api on my samsung snapdragon galaxy s8 but every time i click vulkan it switches back to opengl. is there a fix for this?

there's a bug about the pipe, when i enter in a pipe a strange dark/black character appears in the screen and after exiting from the pipe the strange character disappears

Just got started on my new build and was hoping to save a little money on the GPU until I have more money to throw at it. So my question is does anyone know how well the GT 730 handles 720p or 1080p without any enhancements? The build is:
Intel i3-8100 3.6GHz quad core
Gigabyte - H310M S2H LGA1151 MoBo
G. Skill Ripjaw V series (2x4GB)
EVGA 500 watt PSU
I'm cheap, I know but for the time being I don't need a whole lot of GPU grunt because I don't play many PC games but the ones I do are usually 15+ years old so not very demanding. My first choice of GPU was the GT 1030 but a 730 is half the price and I'd like to hold off until I can get a GTX 1050. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone. I have a cpu I5 4670K with default frequence of 3Ghz and a geforce 1070 graphic card. I prefer to play with a resolution 3x and 2xSSA. With this parameters I can earn some frames if I overclock my cpu or the load in this case is mainly on the graphic card?

Hi everyone. I have a problem with the game and I hope someone can help me. I have a lot of stuttering in the game and sometime in the cut scenes. I tried different settings: native resolution, v-sync enabled and disabled, I tried to disabled the g-sync of the monitor, Open Gl, Direct x 11, Vulkan, and I tried two different version of the emulator (include the last one).

My specs are: Windows 7 SP1
I5 4670k
Geforce 1070
Samsung SSD 850 Pro
Ram 8GB

Hello,
I'm on Debian buster and my BT adapter is a Cambridge Silicon Radio one. It looks like a pretty common model, even the ubuntu wiki lists it in the example commands: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupportComponentsBluetoothUsbAdapters and I have the same VendorID and ProductID:

Dolphin 5.0 on MacBook Pro

Hi
I have a MacBook Pro mid 2012 Intel core i5 Intel HD Graphics 4000 4gb ram and installed Windows 7 Home Premium with bootcamp. Downloaded Dolphin 5.0 and installed it. Everything ok, the game was perfect (60fps 100% speed) but no audio. The audio actually works, I went to settings and saw that there wasn’t any output audio so clicked on openal and saw in the mixer that dolphin was added to the sounds. Then I tried again but when I open the game it crashes saying “dolphin exe stopped working”. So I tried a older version of dolphin but nothing, then I uninstalled everything and installed dol0hin 5.0 went to properties and chose to run the app as administrator, but nothing. What should I do? Why it doesn’t work?
