Dolphin crashing when I load Smash Brawl
I am running Dolphin 5.0 (I also tried running as admin, it didn't help). When I load Wind Waker, it works perfectly fine. But, when I load Super Smash Bros Brawl, Dolphin spits out 3 errors. "Failed to write BT.DINF to SYSCONF", "SetupWiiMemory: Can't create setting.txt file", and "Unable to resolve read address 80004000 PC 0" Then, when I try to close that error, it just loads that same error again, and I have to crash dolphin using task manager to close it. What is the issue?

Dolphin thinks my -TR remote doesn't have motion plus
So I just got myself the latest wii remote that has the included motion plus accessory inside together with a Dolphinbar. I got the controller connected with the bar and everything and dolphin recognizes the controller and I can use it without problems in normal games. When I tried Wii sports resort now though it just asks me to plug in the motion plus accessory. Help anyone?

worked fine - now stutter
Hi,
i ran Dolphin in my living room PC for over a year with no issues. No stutter every game just worked flawless. I had been playing Donkey Kong a week ago with my daughter with no issues. We wanted to continue the game today and to my surprise, it was very slow. No sound stutter though. A PC reboot brought no improvements so I tried other games I have: they all run slow (like half the speed) and they have audio stutter.
PC Hardware:
Intel Core i7 8700K water cooled, Nvidia GTX 1060, 16 GB RAM 3333 MHz running Windows 10 64 bit
Further connected is an Oculus Rift.
So in total not the most crappy machine to run Dolphin.
I have now spent more than an hour testing the various grafics options (D3D11, D3D12, OpenGL, Vulka) with no effect. I have upgraeded to latest Dolphn developer build but also no change.
Again it worked excellent for over a year and all of a sudden, it doesn't work anymore.
Ayn ideas?

Add ARMV8L support for low-end phones.
ARMV7x is old but what about ARMV8L? If you can develop this ARMV8l arch. Ok, my phone haves Armv8l based SoC. But sadly armv8l is not supported on Dolphin Emulator. Thanks.

GC controller not detected after a few days
Using dolphin 5.0 non developer build on a 2017 Macbook pro w/completely stock internals.
Loving this free emulator so far I can play games 720p-1080p resolution with minimal slowdown/hiccups
however after following the steps on the dolphin wiki for setting up controller (using official gc controller with
mayflash adapter) it works for only a week or so until the it says "adapter not detected" in the controller settings.
I have to delete and re download the smash enabler kext and input the commands into the terminal again for it to work
and then repeat the process when it stops working again. I have tried both USB ports, I use only the black usb male that comes
with the mayflash and have it set to wii-u/ns.
can anyone help me?
I'd rather not have to keep going through this process over
and over again if possible. thx!!!

Nvidia Shield TV ideal settings - Fight Night Round 2
Sorry for the fairly noobish post but I am at a loss.
According to everyone, the Nvidia Shield TV should be the best android device out there for Dolphin, but I cannot get it to run the main game I actually want to play in any playable way.
I want to play Fight Night Round 2.
Game loads, menus look great, video cut scenes are a bit janky (known vp6 video issue, no big deal) but when the actual gameplay starts (ie start a fight) the thing runs like its in slow motion.
The FPS counter says 29-30 which should be fine, but the game is running in slow motion, nowhere near what it should.
Is there a guide/thread out there for the absolute best settings for the Nvidia Shield TV? I've tried all kinds of stuff but have not had any success. Is there a build version people say is the best for the Nvidia Shield TV?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Memory card in slot A is corrupted
I have two computers with Dolphin on Windows 10 x64. The exact same Gamecube memory card file that works fine with all games on one computer results in the message "Memory card in slot A corrupted" in Beyond Good and Evil and Paper Mario, while Metroid Prime 2 works. Both computers are using the exact same memory card file and the exact same version of Dolphin.
I've tried disabling anti-virus and running Dolphin as administrator to no avail. I've copied the memory card file over again from the working computer twice. Is there anything known that could cause this?

Xbox One controller analog sticks not working in game
Hello everyone,
I'm having a blast revisiting old times by using emulators on my PC in combination with a new Xbox One controller I bought specifically for that purpose. I played N64 using Project64 without any problems at all. Now I've decided to revisit some GameCube games using the Dolphin Emulator. Everything seems to be in order, my laptop seems to be able to handle everything, except for one major issue.
When ingame, the input I give via the Xbox One controller's analog sticks is not processed. All the other buttons seem to work fine. It is only the analog sticks that cease to function (both of them). I am pretty sure I have set up the controller in the correct way. In the Dolphin controller setup menu the analog input is properly received (using the analog stick while mapping buttons works properly, and any movement I make with the controller's analog stick is represented in the corresponding diagram below).
This was all in version 5.0. After alot of research I decided to upgrade to the latest version of Dolphin, which happens to be 5.0-8993 as of right now. To my great joy, the analog sticks did seem to work in game this time! However, my happiness was short lived, as after progressing through a few ingame menu's the same old problem resurfaced again! Even stranger so, if I would return to a previous stage in the ingame menu (by pressing B), the analog sticks worked again! To illustrate the problem I will explain using Super Monkey Ball, see the attachments. As far as I can see, the same problem follows the same weird progression in other games. At least in Tales in Symphonia, where, similarly, an early menu allows use of analog sticks, and later they aren't usable anymore. In both games the analog sticks are useless as soon as I get to actual gameplay.

I am using bluetooth passthrough mode (with Zadig's libusbK drive), and sometimes it shows 'A "IPEvent" event was scheduled from the wrong thread (non-CPU)' when starting a game. I have referred to https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-bluetooth-passthrough-troubleshooting?pid=478721#pid478721 and have changed to https://dl.dolphin-emu.org/prs/pr-7216-dolphin-latest-x64.7z but the same situation still occurs sometimes. Curiously, If I press 'yes' when it pops up, everything will continue as normal. Any suggestion?

Fix for PAL60 games
Hi there
I tried to play Fortune Street (Boom Street) on PC and Android
With a default dolphin setup, you a message that 60Hz Mode is required
On PC i was able to fix it by activating the PAL60 setting (on Settings -> Wii)
On android this setting doesn't exists, so there is a way to get it fixed?

Vulkan renderer issue on Nvidia Shield TV
Hello everyone,
My Nvidia Shield TV is updated with the latest version, and i'm using the latest build of Dolphin Android (5.0-8993) but if i choose the Vulkan video renderer and then launch a game, no matter which one, the emulator says ''Failed to create Vulkan instance'' and after i press ok it says ''Failed to initialize video backend!''.
I saw on Youtube and on forums that the Nvidia Shield works perfectly with Vulkan but not mine.
Everything is ok when i use Vulkan with PPSSPP, it works perfectly.
So what's the problem with Dolphin?
Is there something i have to do to solve this problem?

ERROR: Wiimote (Number) disconnected by emulated software

Can't initialize video backend, can't select adapter.
Hi, i'm currently using the lastest dev version of the Dolphin Emulator. Currently by some odd reason it doesn't want to initalize the video backend (it gives me an error that says so), and plus, i can't select my video card on graphics menu. I simply cannot do anything past this point, and i really would like to do anything at all. No games or even the Wii Menu seem to work.

Windows 10 - Dolphin Wont start Up
I just recently wiped my drive, and I reinstalled Windows 10. I am unable to get dolphin to open either the 5.0-8993 release or the stable version release either. When I try Dolphin 4.0-315 and that works. I was wondering what could be causing this issue. Under the task manager i see that it opens, then it gets suspended and closes right away. Thanks for the help.

Custom Rom for OpenGL

I'm new here and not sure if this has been asked before. I unfortunately have a Samsung Galaxy S8 with a Mali CPU
I downloaded dolphin for 2 specific GC games. "Harry Potter the chamber of secrets" and "PK"
After some tweaking I got hp to work on Vulcan, but it's very unstable.
As far as I found out the opengl EXT buffer is now available on Mali CPUs for nearly a year but Samsung still fails to implement it.
So as far as I didn't miss anything I hoped that someone may recommend me a stable working custom ROM with opengl support, because by now I am so frustrated I don't even care about the last year of warranty left on my device and just want to be able to play my childhood classics on the go

Dolphin not detecting Wiimote with DolphinBar
I recently bought a DolphinBar (W010) and I've been trying to get it working with Dolphin. It is on the latest firmware and the Wiimote syncs with it but Dolphin itself doesn't detect the remote. I have it set to Real Wiimote and Continuous Scanning is checked, but it doesn't vibrate like it should when I click Refresh and it doesn't work in any game.
