Paper Mario ttyd punies disappear chapter 2

Hey guys.
When I play chapter 2 of paper Mario ttyd using vulkan. The punies disappear if they are offscreen. This occurs when the game starts applying its internal frameskip. The game cannot be completed due to this bug. Since all the punies need to be off screen when flurrie uses her power to push them into a lake before the jabbie battle. Any way I can fix this with a setting change?

Edit: this also occurs on opengl

I'm using a galaxy note 9 if that helps

So I would like to know what are some lightweight games for dolphin (VC doesn't counts) I know there is melee that is running about from 40 - 60fps (depends on a stage), but I still wanted to know more about games that are lightweight as Melee or more

Can't use analog stick with Xbox one controller

To whoever it may concern,

up until today I had no problems playing games on Dolphin which required the use of the analog sticks. I don't know what's changed, but I've uninstalled and reinstalled Dolphin about 4 times now (including downloading one of the versions that comes in a .7z format), and I'm still stuck. Even tried moving the controller to different USB ports.

I'm using an Intel HD 4600, Intel i5, and 8GB RAM.

My save file is gone?

I played mario galaxy 2 for a few weeks, but today when I opened dolphin, it mention something about sending data to developers, which is weird because I thought it only happens the first time you open dolphin. When I opened mario galaxy 2's rom, my save file was not loaded. I looked through my files, but can't find the save file to load into dolphin so I can play it from where
I left off. Also my savestates are gone as well.

So, what happened? Is my save file gone forever?

Cubeb Audio issues on OSX Sierra

I've installed version 5.0.9357 on my MacBook Pro (Mid 2015) running OSX 10.12.6, and I'm not getting any audio. I've gone into the audio preferences and changed my backend to Cubeb, and still nothing. I've tried restarting the program, and restarting the computer. I upgraded because I was having c stick control issues in the previous version of Dolphin (the version number escapes me right now). The c stick now works, but no audio is a bad trade off for sure.

Any advice on how to fix this issue?

Why can’t wiped gcm fixer fix my dumped Luigi’s Mansion iso to 1.4GB???

Every time I punch in FSTFIX Luigi’s Mansion (USA).iso t s f the CMD says either:

File Not Found

Or:

Sorry This ISO is not Fixable in this version!

Sooooo how much longer do I have to struggle until I can play my dumped Luigi’s Mansion on Dolphin?!!

The disc dumped as an iso onto my C drive so what’s going on here, what’s the issue I’m missing???

Super Mario Sunshine- low framerate.

As the title says, Sunshine is running super slow, like 15 fps. I have no hacks on and the VPS counter at the top says I'm at 30 but that is definitely not the case.

Dolphin Under-Performing

I get frequent brief hiccups in performance. If I set the backend to Vulkan and the resolution to native, they're noticeably reduced but still present. This makes no sense as my friend's less powerful computer runs it flawlessly on default settings in 5.0. My computer seems to somewhat under-perform in general, actually. I already asked this on r/dolphin but I was directed here.
Update: Actually, I just installed the latest dev build and it runs great now. How do I delete posts?

Netplay Packet Loss Issue

I've been having an issue where after I finish playing Dokapon Kingdom on Netplay and close the emulator, I would start to have packet loss in spikes. It seems to happen randomly but it's consistent enough where it becomes a big problem when I am playing something like CSGO. This only ever happens after I stop playing Netplay and the only way I have found to fix it is to restart my router.

I'm using Dolphin r9320, all settings are default beyond the instructions labeled here: https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/netplay-guide (However I did turn off Dual Core as the game wouldn't boot otherwise)


Not sure if this will help but in an effort to comply to forum rules my general PC specs are:

CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: Kingston 12 GB (2 x 4GB, 2 x 2GB)
GPU: AMD R7 260x
OS: Windows 10 x64

If anyone has any ideas on how I can fix this problem that would be very appreciated.

Any news about vulkan on Dolphin for Android 9 ? I try to contact Xiaomi (my device is Pocophone F1) to tell them about this issue and they said will conctact qualcomm about this bug. But for sure, is really problem on drivers version ? Because if the drivers are broken for emulation, PPSSPP it had to be affected too.... I know is two difference emulator, but the version 1.1.66 for Oreo version works very nice for emulation on dolphin, when I merge and recompile the drivers for Pie or use stock version bahhh black graphics problem. I think the problem is big than drivers, problably the API on Pie and the blocks are different for dolphin interpret and render ?
I'm not try to lack education here, I respect all the job the devs from dolphin makes for the community, I just try to understand with tech language what's going on here with vulkan on Pie.

Why won’t Wiped GCM Fixer detect any of my overdumped isos?

Sooo CMD wouldn’t work so I’ve also tried the Wiped GCM Fixer GUI app, every time I locate my overdumped Mario Sunshine or Luigi’s Mansion ISO’s(7.92GB each from Friidump) they are hidden from my desktop screen, blank screen as if they never existed.

Sooo why won’t this application find a single one of my ISO’s? Any better alternative to fix my overdumped ISO’s. Would deeply appreciate it.

Mixed results

So my spec info should be on my profile- when I first bought my laptop, I was able to play No More Heroes without any real performance issues. Recently, I've had more trouble, and have had a particular problem running Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. I use Direct3D11 as the graphics plug-in- you'll see that I have an NVIDA GeForce GTX 1060, but I actually have had slightly better performance using Intel® Graphics UHD 630, oddly enough. I feel like, with the PC that I have, I should have more than enough at my disposal to be running these games on Dolphin with little to no issue, but that hasn't been the case. Open to suggestions, ideas as to what the issue may be, etc

x360 pad axis calibration on ubuntu 18.04

Hi all I'm on mint 19.1 (so good based on ubuntu 18.04).

My horizontal left pad axis is nearly at the end right of dolphin settings (see in attachment the frame under).

I wanted to calibrate my pad through jtest but this one tells me everything is fine (see attachment).

Problem : for instance in MarioKart, it doesn't turn right very smell (very slowly, it was predictable)

Is there a way to manually change things in cfg file of dolphin ?

PS : yesterday dolphin auto updated (ppa) with 5.0-3627ef8-dirty, whereas win64 version is currently 5.0-9413   so nearly 6000 versions behind ????

2Controllers not working (Wii)

whenever I connect 2 Xbox controllers to my PC via Bluetooth, my first one is called XInput/0/Gamepad and I use it as controller 1. My 2nd one is called XInput/1/Gamepad but whenever I set it up and hit "close" it always defaults back to using XInput/0/Gamepad as my second controller.

I wanted to start a thread to see if I could get some recommendations on what settings to sue for the Shield TV 2017?

I have found OPEN GL and 1x resolution working the best for me but want to know what other settings are others using that work the best?

Also are you finding different settings for different games produce better results?

Add HOTKEY for Swap Eyes in 3D ?

Hi, not sure if this is the right place for this, but it's possible to add a HOTKEY under 3D to be able to SWAP EYES on the fly while gaming ?

I use dolphin in 2 different 3D displays and sometimes I need to hot swap and I think it could be usefull to some ppl too.

By the way, some games look amazing in 3D really....

Thanks and keep up the great work, Dolphin is amazing (so much better than my old Wii right now...)

A IPCEvent was scheduled?

Hey so ive got a problem when i start anny game i get a warning messege saying A "IPCEvent was scheduled from the wrong thread (non-CPU).
what dose that mean?
and all my games wont go over 20-25 fps when i get that warning...
but only like 2 days ago all my games was a stabel 60fps...

Anny one know what the problem is?

WiiMote (real) pointer not working on dolphin

Hi! i bought a wiimote today. i plugged it in today and the buttons work fine. i played boxing and bowling on wii sports. bit the pointer does not show!?

do i need an IR sensor Sad Sad
