Shake doesn't work with real wiimote

Hello!
I am using an "original" wiimote with dolphin, but shaking isn't detected in the game "Jett Rocket". I don't have any other game where shaking the wiimote does something, so I can't test that right now. Everything else works perfectly except for this.
I'm using dolphin5.0-9413, I also tried the "stable" 5.0 release and it had the same problem.
I also have my real wii's nand imported if that matters.

so i just got this emulator today and i tried to play the legend of zelda wind waker for the gamecube. while it opened, and showed the start menu, the buffering speed was terrible and constantly lagged. it would be impossible to play. i'm not sure how to solve this problem because macs running 10.14 or later (like me) cannot use opengl (or at least new versions? i have no idea how it works, or if i even have it at all). the forum i found suggested using metal instead but that seems to be for programmers and not just people who need fancier graphics to play emulated games. not sure how to fix this... i think my computer specs will be somewhere on the screen, can someone please help? i have no idea what arb buffer storage means other than something to do with, well, buffering. playing games on emulators is something extremely casual for me and i'm not willing to buy new hardware just to play one. if that were the case, i'd just buy a gamecube. i really just want a solution to play games on dolphin because otherwise it'll be impossible for me ):

wii remote won't stay connected

i have an official wii remote from nintendo (i think it's the rvl-003 model if that helps?) and it connected for about 30sec the first time i tried to connect it and then dropped. after that it wouldn't connect.

i tried my other wii remote which is afterglow brand and that wouldn't connect at all. help?

game won't run above 60% speed

i'm playing fire emblem radiant dawn and it refuses to run above 60% speed. it's not unplayable but it's really unsettling and inconvenient. is there a solution to this?

Metroid Prime 1 - Side hops dont work

Pretty much the title. The controls work fine I got both the digital and analog bound so lock on functions properly, however I cannot side hop when locked on with the scanning visor. I can however side hop when locked onto and enemy which makes absolutely no sense. I read a reddit thread talking about scan dashing for the sequence break on the dolphin gamecube version. How do I fix this? Im using a ps3 controller with SCP toolkit if that matters, have yet to have issues with this controller on other games/emus and ive played a lot

Mario Golf saving game but not Records

I've been playing Mario Golf: Toadstools Tour on Dolphin on my Shield. It's been saving my progress in matches fine, and all my star characters save. But when I go to look in Options > Records > Character Matches it's all empty. None of my Highlights are saved either, including the hole in one I got earlier Sad

I'm not using save states, I'm just saving like you usually would in the game. Dolphin is installed on my Shield but the rom is on my Nas, could that have anything to do with it? Does anyone know why this could be? I have GCI folders set for memory card 1 and 2, would it be better to set as Memory Card? Thanks in advance, sorry if this is a stupid obvious question.

Gecko codes wont download

Dolphin fails to download gecko codes whenever i click download codes. its been doing this for a week or more so. Why is this happening they worked before? I have no clue if this should be in support or codes category.

Hello! I'm new to this forum and using dolphin in general.

I installed dolphin through the AUR and can use it no problem and didn't bother about the dependencies. I actually wanted to install faster melee, for which I had an error upon installing it. There are dependencies that I apparently don't have. I don't know the name for manjaro of any of the " *-dev " main dependencies listed on the " Building Dolphin on Linux " wiki, and they are not found by pacman at least with those names.

The errors are: " gzip: stdin: not in gzip format "; " tar: Child returned status 1" if I don't try to download the udev rules for Wii U adapter;
and without the udev rules, at 60% when reading " Linking CXX static library libwx.a "; " Built target wx ": " [Makefile:163: all] Error 2 ".

I hope you can help me and that know what I'm talking about. Ask any questions needed. Thanks in advance Big Grin

Very strange Dolphin behavior on mac

I have experienced this thing many times with various Dolphin versions on mac (with both OpenGL and Vulkan).
When some game is too slow and the emulator crashes in process, then when I restart it the game begins to work with the absolute ideal speed. But this lasts just till I close Dolphin. Next time it is sloooow again.
So the last time it was as such:
The game is FF:crystal bearers, Vulkan, Async Ubershaders, the speed for this title typically is pitifully slow. Then Dolphin had hanged ingame and I terminated it. After deleting shader caches and restarting Dolphin the game literally began to fly when i resumed playing from savestate, it was just ideal.
I wish it to always be that way.
Please, help me, and maybe some other mac users to solve this enigma.

I've been frustrated by the inability to use GameCube controllers for Dolphin on my Mac over this "unsigned driver" issue.  When I saw the new Gbros. Bluetooth Adapter, I decided to give it a try even though the vendor only listed Windows support.  I'm glad to say it works great!!  I had to map everything, bit it works great!  Finally, Mac users have an easy way to play Dolphin with a real GameCube controller!  Rocking out to Metroid Prime tonight!!

Im using a winbook tablet and everytime i try to run dolphin it says "This app can't run on your pc" it's a windows 8.1 edition. i've even tried older versions of dolphin but that didn't work?

Since both Zelda games or playing very nicely on my S9, can any work be put into making Dolphin a little more touch screen friendly? I have had a lot of missed button press's and the gui gets in the way of the game a little. Take a que from games made for touch screen and make the analog stick invisible and the seperate the d pad and c stick buttons? It's unnecessary to make them look exactly like the real controller buttons. And the damn A and B buttons are stupidly sized on the real controller's.

GC4iOS is a Dolphin for iOS project started by a guy called Will Cobb, found here https://github.com/WilliamLCobb/GC4iOS

Currently the touchscreen controls for GC4iOS only seems to work with Gamecube games. Is it straightforward to change GC4iOS to support Wii Classic controller or Wiimote? The code (line 71) on this page https://github.com/WilliamLCobb/GC4iOS/blob/master/GC4iOS/UI/EmulatorViewController.mm seems to suggest the current controller just overrides the Dolphin custom controller. So presumably the Dolphin custom controls is not implemented but is there a similar hack that would override custom controls with a Wii classic controller instead? Like where in the Dolphin code does it say what controller to use and surely it isn't too hard to change this?

I tried and failed to figure it out for myself since I don't know much about coding but I have access to XCode so I can edit the source code and create my own ipa etc.

I know iOS Dolphin isn't being worked on here but the original guy who started GC4iOS seem to have stopped working on it and no longer replies to messages so I figured I’d try here instead.

So im having a problem whit The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess,
Its only running at 20-25 fps when only a week ago i got a smoth 60fps
and the thing is that this is the only game that im having this problem whit.

The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword for example runs just fine and all my other games too,
It started whit this warnig messege " A IPCEvent was scheduled" but now when i start Twilight the message is gone but the game still only runs at 20-25fps...
And i use bluetooth passthrough.

Hi to all!

I just installed latest build on my phone (with Pie) and playing Mario Sunshine.

It works at 30fps without override...unless I press a button. If I don't press a button it falls at 15-20 fps...

Just tried also Fzero GX and it runs at 40fps, is there some nice config for this game?

Getting discord rich presence to work on Ishiiruka Dolphin

Hello, I don't wanna sound like one of "those people" but I noticed the discord rich presence only works with normal Dolphin whereas Ishiiruka doesn't have it yet. Is there a file for the normal Dolphin that I can move to the Ishiiruka files or is it more complicated than that?
