[Wii Channel] Wii Fit Body Check Channel


Keyboard/controller doesn't work

Title. I've tried both my keyboard and my Xbox 360 controller, they are both detected and fully configured by Dolphin but any inputs I make do not register in game. I've looked over some old posts and it seems past problems have involved controllers not being detected at all, which is not the case here. The Xbox controller works well on Steam.

Dolphin 5.0-14095 (latest beta ver).

Im getting a split clone screen

For months or maybe a year i never had any problems, i had some settings set up that helped me run it better but never game any trouble so i never touched them, but out of nowhere i started getting split screens in everysingle game. After this i've been trying with a lot of settings but none seem to fix it.

Zelda Wind Waker blackscreen

after the cutscene that Link is thrown into the sea and the talking boat rescue Link, the screen turns black, and appears the following message:

invalid write to 0x01234567, PC = 0x80006d64

the dolphin versions that i played was: 5.0-14095, and 5.0

Pyqt initialization error

I am nearly done setting up Dolphin, it won't start however and gives me the message, "This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem." I have looked at several different tutorial videos for when this issue occurs and have determined that I can't fix it because I'm lacking a certain folder and its contents. The directory for the folder is C:/Users/Admin/AppData/Local/Programs/Python/Python39/Lib/Site-packages/Pyqt5/Qt/Bin (missing). I'm sure Dolphin will run fine if anyone can send me the contents of the Qt bin folder. Thank you in advance.

Wii Netplay Save issue

Hi, My friend and I have been having issues saving whilst playing Dokapon Kingdom over netplay. We are able to save the game, however we cannot continue from where we saved. R2DEEB is the Dokapon Kingdom number. When we host the netplay, we have all the nessasary things to run and save the game properly. Enable dualcore is disabled, My friend and I run the same settings. We also have Write save/SD data and load Wii save. As well as Sync Saves. No matter happens what we cannot play where we left off. Let us know if you can help, thank you!

[Feature Request] Control D-pads or Analog Sticks with Gyroscope

I play lots of Nintendo racing games on Dolphin, but my experience is never great. For both GameCube and Wii, I have to control with either one of the analog sticks, or the d-pad. And, no matter what I do—it's hard to tell if you're pressing or not—I often miss controlling these, so I require multiple restarts to actually finish a race.

One thing I noticed on another emulator, PPSSPP, is that it has an option to control your desired controls with the phone's gyroscope. I can be the D-pad, the analog stick, L/R trigger buttons, or one the other action buttons. And when I use that, I have full control of the car, and I can win a lot more races without missing the controls than when I didn't.

I'd like to see the same feature, or similar, to be added in future versions of Dolphin. Here's a video link demonstrating this tilt control option on PPSSPP for those unaware: https://youtu.be/M4kQ0eCILhg

Super Paper Mario 'Dyllis' bug

Hello all,

I think I found a bug...

If playing Super Paper Mario using the newer build 5.0-14311:  When I enter Dyllis' restaurant "Hot Fraun" the game just sort of hangs.

If playing in build 5.0-1589, when entering Dyllis' restaurant, the game works as expected.

Description of the bug:  Normally when entering a house in Super Paper Mario, the scene shifts to a view inside the house, an animation of a 'fade from black' plays along with a corresponding sound effect, then the player characters walk into the house through the door, and finally control is passed back to the player.  But when entering Dyllis' restaurant in Flopside, the scene shifts to a view inside the house but the 'fade from black' doesn't occur (the sound effect still plays), the player characters are left standing outside of the house, and the game becomes soft-locked.  The game music continues to play, the idle animations still work, but it's as if the 'enter a house' animation gets stuck and controls are never passed back to the player, which effectively breaks the game.  This happens on build 14095 and 14311, but Not build 1589.

Have any of you seen this?  Is it something that should be reported in a formal bug report?

Skyward Sword Remastered

None of the newer versions of Dolphin appear to work with the Skyward Sword Remastered texture pack, all just show up as 'Custom Textures Loaded 0.0 MB in 0 Seconds.' This seems a crying shame to me, as even with the new Nintendo-made version coming (and lookin bunk as all hell), this texture pack is likely to remain definitive. The older version of the pack works on 5.0-6205 and prior versions, but those older versions don't include the new AI upscaling to the rest of the textures. What gives??

Gyro Controls Possible in Gamecube Games?

Last I checked, they were intended for use in Wii titles. But what I'm wondering is if I could use gyro controls in a gamecube title, and if so how would that be done?

In my case I'm trying to use gyro aim with Agent Under Fire, so when I press the left bumper, it enables (or disables) gyro aiming. Then all I'd have to do is hold down L with it enabled and be set. I know the first part of getting it set up would involve the client setup first from here. But assuming it's possible, I don't know how I would set up the bindings for it in the first place.



Also would this controller be supported for gyro aim in Dolphin? If not then no big deal, I can just use a DS4 if it isn't.

Remapping Wiimote

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to remap the real Wii remote using (Connect Wii remotes for emulated controllers) to change my
buttons/P2 Same buttons, but after doing so the Wii remote wont use the sensor bar afterwards.
Everything works fine except that the Wii remote doesn't use the sensor bar


Also the sensor bar works with the Real Wii Remote option but not the emulated Wii remote option
I don't have Wii motion plus

Suggestion: Improving the Dolby Pro Logic II decoder

Here are some ideas I have to improve Dolphin's Dolby Pro Logic II decoder.
The Dolby Pro Logic II decoder in Dolphin is based on the FreeSurround plugin for foobar2000, which can decode up to 16.1 channels (10.1.6 in Dolby Atmos terms) which would be really great for 3D HRTF in headphones.
And there are also GameCube and Wii games which support Dolby Pro Logic IIx, which is 6.1/7.1, games like Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Sonic Riders and many Wii games supported Dolby Pro Logic IIx.
If the speaker configuration for FreeSurround can be configured for anything from 2.0 to 16.1, it would be a great upgrade and Dolphin will no longer be locked to 5.1.

There is also a problem that the default LFE configuration for FreeSurround is off, giving weak LFE compared to actual Dolby Pro Logic II.
FreeSurround's lower and upper limits for bass transition are 39Hz and 90Hz, respectively. While Dolby Pro Logic II's lower and upper should be in 100Hz and 120Hz, respectively.
I cannot set FreeSurround's lower limit to 100Hz so I stuck with 101Hz.

If the Dolby Pro Logic II decoder can have its own settings section when enabled giving similar options as to what is in FreeSurround in foobar2000, the DPLII decoder would be much better.

Zelda Wind Waker picto box freezes

Hi, I have a problem with the emulator, two days ago I was playing Super Mario Sunshine and everything was going very well, but now that I try to play the screen is black and in the FPS it appears 0, and then it seems to freeze and when closing it, the message "Dolphin.exe does not respond" appears, I have tried to download it again and the same thing happens to me, I need help please Huh
