I decided to give OpenGL a try and with any game the entire screen flickers like mad but if I exit fullscreen it stops flickering. Any idea what could cause this and how can I fix it.

Sudden Frame stutters and stops
I recently got project M with the dolphin emulator. Every time I play however it will stop or skip so much that I would think that I am using a scratched disc. At one point it even blue screened my computer. I play netplay with my friends and I am the one bring everyone down because they don't have the same problem I am having. One of my friends has a computer with worse specs than mine and he can run it just fine. I did try other games like waverace and mario party. They did not stutter but other games like double dash would stutter at times. Super Monkey Ball was terrible however, that dropped to around 45 and with that game, it's just a crime. I should be more than capable to run these games, please help!

Netplay NSMB Control Issues

I would like to play New Super Mario Bros with a friend of mine. When I start the game for myself, without netplay, everything works very fine and as intended.
But now we wanted to play together, and read through the netplay-guides, did everything fine, but:
We can host/join, no problem.
We can start the game, no problem.
But the inputs we make on our keyboard do not work anymore at all. So I can press all buttons wildly, the starting screen always says "Press (2) to start the game". I press the assigned button for (2) but it does not take any input. It works fine when I am playing alone, without netplay, though. We do NOT use any wiimotes or other controllers. Just normal computer keyboard so "emulated wiimote".
Does someone have an idea for that?
We both use the newest version of Dolphin (4.0 from the homepage, downloaded yesterday), both use Windows 7 x64.

CTGP Revolution in Dolphin
I've been enjoying playing CTGP Revolution on my actual Wii for a bit, but I'm finding it rather difficult to play compared to dolphin due to the honestly atrocious graphics that make it difficult to see detail in the distance and lack of controller customisation. There are videos around on Youtube of people playing it through dolphin, but I've not been able to find anything that tells me how to actually get it running on dolphin. The only threads that come up when I google it say that it's not possible, even though it clearly is.
Anyone know how to get it running? I'm not bothered if it's quite technical to do, that shouldn't be a problem for me, any directions on how to do it would be most welcome.

Graphical bug on several EA games
Hi guys, I was trying some trivia EA games.
Triiviial, trivial persuit, trivial persuit bet you know it and trivial persuit you dont know jack.
All this games show a quarter of screen non visible, like you can see on the picture. It´s always the same quarter. Sometimes something get rendered on that quarter, others is completely black.
Latest dev build. Happens with olders too.
Intel cpu. Nvidia card.
Tried every render, including dx12, all show this problem.
Changed IR, filters, etc, all the same.

Best dolphin version for OS X?
Hey, Im running dolphin on OS X 10.11.1 and i am wondering what version of dolphin would give me the best experience.
The newest version 4.0.9xxx runs really smooth but unfortunately the water is bugged ( i know this is a known problem)
Dolphin 4.0 has fine water but runs considerably slower.
Is there any version in between these 2 that would give me better performance before the water glitch occurred?

Missing file? Cannot install latest Dolphin!
Hello,
I've recently come across Dolphin and wanted to use it. After attempting to run the emulator on the pc 3 times i've still had no luck. I just downloaded Dolphin 4.0-9102 the latest version, extracted the files, and tried the start the application inside of the folders. Whenever i try too my pc just says "The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer." and "... because VCRUNTIME140.dll is missing..."
Am i taking the wrong approach at starting the program? All feedback is appreciated.

What's your keyboard layout?

I installed Dolphin only for the purpose of being able to play Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on my laptop. Everything went fairly well (a few problems with sound though),
but I've never played anything on the Nintendo consoles and I have no idea which keys to bind to what. So I was wondering if those of you who play on keyboards could please post your keyboard layouts (preferably with screenshots)
And before you ask - no, I don't have a USB controller and I while wouldn't mind spending 15-25 bucks to get one I'd prefer to not have to carry a controller along with my laptop wherever I go.

Movements of Wiimote not registering?
So, this problem is rather weird. I'm playing Okami and just got to the first part where you have to move our wiimote to draw a star but when I wave it around, the brush isn't moving. The game didn't freeze or anything, it just won't move. I find it odd as when I shake the wiimote to do the dash, it registers and everything else seems to work fine.

Wii remote disconnecting very often!

I got my dolphin emulator set up and while playing games on it my controller keeps repeatedly timing out. Every 2-3 minutes my controller disconnects and isn't helped by pressing ALT f4. I am using the original wii controller and sensor bar. Also, i am using the latest version of dolphin at the time of posting this. Any suggestions? All feedback is appreciated!

Melee HD. A how to??
Hello! So I wanted to post this in the HD Texture Projects Board. But For some reason it won't let me post there (there isn't a "New Thread" button on the top right of the page). So I'll post this here instead.
I recently watched some Melee HD videos on youtube. Here's A gameplay video. And here is a quick rundown on the possibilities of Melee HD.
My question is how do you do this? I already have the 20xx Hack Pack installed. How do you convert melee to a 1920x1080 display like in the gameplay video (I always have black bars on both sides of my screen)?
How do you turn on anit-aliaisng for those smooth edges? Are the textures just HD? Where can I get these skins (I thought they were not out yet)?
The quality of melee in the gameplay video is amazing. How can I turn my regular iso of melee into the HD version seen in these videos??

Fast Depth and Z Fighting
So, I haven't played XG3 or StarFox Adventures in a while. I just got me a brand new PC so I figured it was time to break out some Dolphin and go to town. There seems to be a problem with at least those two games.
In XG3, I always had to disable fast depth or there would be such Z fighting that the shield and weapon recharge lanes, green and purple refill zones, and the windows on the buildings would become almost invisible and flicker like mad. A similar issue was seen on shadows in SFA but disabling fast depth only greatly helped instead of eliminating it entirely. (Please excuse me if I am not using the correct term, I only know enough to get into trouble)
The thing is, the option to turn this off is no longer available in the latest DEV builds. I tried to set this in the per game INI but I am not sure if either I have not done this correct or if the option to not use fast depth has fully been removed.
Since you guys are quickly approaching 5.0 I find this decision a tad suspect seeing as immediately I know of two games that need fast depth to be disabled to work properly and removing this seems somewhat of a step backwards, from my stupid user perspective only of course.
So my question really is, can I still disable fast depth in some way and if so how do I do this?

I'm just wondering because I wanted one for the longest time just to play DBZ games on Wii.

Wii U Pro
Like at least half a dozen other users (e.g.) I'm able to use my Wii U Pro controller with everything except Dolphin (4.0-652 and/or latest). I'm using the Toshiba BT stack driver, vJoy, and WiinUPro. Dolphin doesn't work with WiinUPro or WiinUsoft; it freezes it WiinUPro is open and if I use WiinUsoft to convert the device to an Xbox 360 controller (XInput) Dolphin recognizes a device is there but it doesnt read any of the actual controls. Other emulators are working fine with either software.
It's 2016 and besides the obvious that Dolphin hasn't made any effort to accommodate its prime wireless controller, has anyone discovered any other methods that have worked for the Wii U Pro?

Unreadable characters on Get Fith with Mel B
Hi guys, trying to use this game, but sometimes characters are unreadable.
Added some images. There are other parts of the game with characters showing like this.
System is in spanish. didnt try other language, but characters dont seem to be special ones. Just common ones.
First image is missing "F" letter. Second one is missing a "Z" and a "t"

Lowest possible power consumption for 1080p 60fps Dolphin?
Hey!
I've been poking around mostly on Google and Reddit trying to get to the bottom of this and haven't been able to figure this out.
Within a few years, I'm hopefully going to be in either a "tiny home" or a van dwelling and the majority of my energy will come from solar. Because I'll only have a finite amount of power stored at any given time, I need to cut down on my consumption as much as I possibly can. That said, I still want to be able to play all of my favorite games from the past and Dolphin is essentially the most demanding application for that.
So, I really appreciate games being in 1080p (or nicer, but y'know) and running at 60fps. That's the performance standard I'm setting for myself but I'm also trying to use the smallest amount of power I possibly can while achieving it.
I haven't checked for every iGPU or APU, but I've tried looking into the newer and nicer ones to see if they can give me what I want. Unfortunately, I can't find much to go off of and I don't really know how to interpret Dolphin's benchmark when I do see it in reviews.
From what I can tell, the current top runner for integrated graphics is Intel's Iris Pro 6200 in the i5-5675C. And honestly the main reason I say that is because it can apparently run Street Fighter V in 720p at 60fps, which is really not a very good measurement...
The biggest headache I'm having is that it's really hard to tell at what point I should just start using a discrete GPU like the 750 Ti. And then, if I decide to go with a discrete GPU, how can I secure it if it's going to be in a system that's going in a camper van?
All that considered, am I able to get a system that can run games in Dolphin in 1080p at 60fps pulling less than 50W? 75W? 100W? The lowest power consumption possible is key because, again, I have a finite amount of power available. This is a theoretical exercise, and it might be a year or longer before I build this system so by the time I get around to it this info might be outdated. But, when I do get around to building this system, having this thread as a reference for comparison will be priceless.
(For the sake of this exercise, peripherals outside of the case of the computer are non-factors in power consumption. So, don't include the power that monitors or keyboards or controllers would pull.)

HD Textures not loading-- Wind Waker
I just installed HD Textures from here-- and verified they wwwere in the right folders and that my texture settings are correct. They're not loading!
I saw in another thread that they're not working due to all the files being named incorrectly-- can someone send me a version that works? Thanks!
