Wide screen beyond 16:9? Such as a 16:3 three monitor surround gaming setup

Hello. I have been doing experiments with my multiple monitor set up by trying out different combinations.

I noticed that Dolphin is very advanced with all the different video options available, even to the point of stereo vision.

What I am interested to know is if there is a way to add additional 16:9 monitors left and right of the main screen without the video being stretched, much like you can with Project64.

I find it pretty cool to be able to see games in my left and right monitors because the video sort of curves and looks quite immersive. I'm also looking to set up 'tall gaming' (a term I've completely made up for 8:9) whereby two monitors can be stacked on top of one another with the screen split accross the middle for 2 player games that split the screen horizontally; when I do that on Project 64 or Dolphin it will have black boarders at the top and bottom unless it's stretched; the point of 'tall gaming' is obviously so when I have a friend over we don't have to share the same screen to play against one another.

Tl;dr: I'm trying to game 11520x2160 or 5760x1080 16:3 without stretching the screen.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Problems with GBA connectivity

Hello people!
Long ago I made a post about not being able to connect Dolphin with the Tingle Tuner on the GBA, and later I found a solution and everything was fine. So after a while I stopped playing and decided to do other things. I have started playing again recently but then I ran into a problem. Dolphin does not recognize a connected GBA anymore. I use Dolphin 5.0 and VisualBoyAdvance-M-WX-2.0.0-beta2. Even though it worked fine before now dolphin doesn't even connect with VBA anymore. It simply says there is no GBA connected to any of the ports even though the configurations are all done.
When I open VBA it says "JoyBus host invalid; disabling" and when I try to connect manually using the "Start network link" option it says "LAN link is already active. Disable link mode to disconnect"
I'm not really too knowledgeable on these JoyBus things... all I know is that it worked before but now it doesn't. So I came to ask for help  Smile

Borderless Fullscreen when running game through command line with --exec

Hi everyone, I did some digging around and had trouble finding a solution to this. Basically what I'd like to be able to do is run a game via a shortcut using --exec to launch a specific game with borderless fullscreen enabled, that is, I want exclusive mode disabled when I start a specific game through the command line. I have borderless fullscreen enabled via the normal graphics settings and it works fine when starting games from the main dolphin window, but the option gets ignored when using command line params to start a game (is there a reason for this?). The command line options listed here https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Command_Line_Options don't look like they provide any sort of option for what I want. I also looked into using gameini settings per game listed here https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-howto-using-gameini-settings-per-game, but again didn't see anything related to borderless fullscreen.

For those curious, fullscreen exclusive mode breaks things like microsoft's desktop duplication api and streaming through steam link. I'm trying to use dolphin through steam by launching using --exec, but fullscreen exclusive mode results in a black screen on the steam link side, so I need it turned off in order to start specific games from big picture mode.

dear developer teams or forum members that knows how to solve the issue;
My original ripped iso of Fatal Frame 4 is able to run on my Android & PC
but once I patched the ISO with the translation patch; My PC is able to run it perfectly
but my android device (mi6) wont run the games, just show a blank screen; even wont read the video backend.
Kindly provide answers.

Wii Menu and games

Hi!
So, I have a NAND backup and my Wii Menu is working. But I don't think that the games are recognizing the settings changes that I made to Internet Settings on Wii Menu. I'm trying to use a custom server to play with some friends (we are more than 4, so Netplay is not a option anymore). What can I do?

Is there a repository of pre-built controller profiles available. Particularly, I'm looking for a profile for an Xbox 1 controller that I use to play wiiware games on like mario kart, mario 64, etc. Thanks

ROM collection browser opens 5.0-1331 but nothing newer

Really confused here, and possibly one of you may have an answer. I am using ROM collection browser in Kodi to open dolphin. It works great for 5.0 and up to 5.0-1331 but for some reason anything newer when I select a game, dolphin opens but the game will not start to play. Does anyone have any ideas on why/how to fix this issue? thanks!!!

Cheers everyone!

I recently upgraded to version 5.0-4225 (I gotta admit I don't remember which version I was on before) and since then I got some strange behavious launching select games via Kodi  using Advanced Emulator Launcher.

While all games load just perfectly fine (Gamecube, VC, Wii), two Wii games (Mario Kart and Golden Eye 007) end up in an error  “***Caught unhandled unknown exception; terminating”. It's just these two games, none else!

I hope anyone has an idea. Is there an error log which I might post to help solve this problem?

Metroid Prime map frame rate

For some reason, ever since I updated to dolphin 5.0, I started to have massive frame rate issues in Metroid Prime when I bring out my map. I read about the vertex streaming hack that was used to fix it, but of course this feature is outdated and has been removed because it is default in newer graphics cards. I have a 780ti but still get this slowdown no matter what my settings are at. The only AR code I use is the widescreen fix. I also use the widescreen hud hack. Other than that, the game is vanilla with no graphics mods or texture packs. I never had this issue on either my desktop (what I play on now) or my laptop. But now they both have this issue. Is there something I am missing that could fix this? By the way, yes I have the latest drivers for my computer. I always keep things up to date.

There are some problems that are not corrected and that occur later. And now I think that they have to be corrected (posts to developers).

1- Internet Connection: Dolphin 5.0-2000 and above are no longer connected to the internet in games.

2- Real Wiimote Motor: Older versions even had the option of switching on and off. But now it is not working and the setting is off. For example when the gold move in the Just Dance game wiimote does not vibrate.

3- Just Dance Texture and Pixel Problem: Find solutions to those broken tissues.. NO LONGER. (The problem is just dance for 1-2-3)

Can you help me in these matters, I am waiting forever... Sad

I know that dolphin emulator 4.0 had the UDP controller option in the configure tab but now in the 5.0 update i cant find the same button.
I dont know if they renamed it or not but i would really like to use my phone to play games and especially use it as a just dance controller I guess, considering a phone is lighter than a wiimote it will be easier for me. so if you know a way to do this please reply to this thread or send me a direct message.

Can't complete Wilde Glide on super mario galaxy 2 with keyboard and mouse controls. I am using dolphin emulator 5.0 the newest version and still have this trouble when it comes to the nose dive. The keys work for everything else and this as I get the green tick of approval but i can't make the green tick stay there long enough for the game to register. I have attached pics of my control collaboration incase something can be done there. Please help. Angel

Load dolphin directly into the Wii menu?

I'm on a development build and I'm curious to know if there are any builds out there that let me boot doplhin directly into the Wii's main menu.  Can this be accomplished via the command line?  I ask because it would be helpful when pairing dolphin to a graphical front end.  Thanks

Triforce unable to start correctly

Just downloaded a fresh copy of Dolphin Triforce but facing some issues. (dolphin-Triforce-4.0-315-x64)

First it asks for msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll because apparently they are missing.

I have tried installing, uninstalling and reinstalling all the Visual C++ runtimes and nothing seems to make a difference. Correct version and everything!

Ok, now I download those *.dlls separately and manually place them in the Triforce root directory. Great, now we get past those missing file errors and get "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

Then I tried some compatibility modes and got nowhere.

Not sure what to try next. Any ideas?

Trying to move my Metroid Prime 2 save

I am using the latest Dolphin Devbuild and I just found an older Version of Dolphin on my Harddrive.
It has a MP2 save on the memory card which I want to use with the newest emulator version.

I tried both gci export-import with the Memcard Manager tool and just copy and paste the Memcard file.

But the newer Version seems to ignore it.
The savegame is definetly on the right Memcard file (MemoryCardA.EUR.raw)

Looking to go back through the Metroid Prime Trilogy before 4 releases. I have a real wiimote plus and dolphinbar. I also have the GC controller mayflash adapter and did the Zadig thing but I think the bluetooth passthrough thing is complicating the dolphinbar thing for me.  My dolphinbar doesn't seem to want to update through Mayflash's firmware, the text stays greyed out. But, once I run dolphin, the IR of the wiimote is actually picked up, but its being used as an IR pointer, it moves the Windows mouse. Can't get into the game though, even after hitting alt+f5. Windows 10 by the way. I'd rather use the BT of the dolphinbar if it's going to be on for the LED's anyway, but my PC does have Bluetooth on the motherboard, for what it's worth. What's the simplest way to get this working? A link to the simplest guide will do. Thanks.
