Dolphin stops after about 15 minutes

The emulator crashes after 10-15 minutes of game play. The problem should not be my PC because It runs at max frames and there is no problems running the game like lag, high temps (43C) or artifacts. I believe the problem could be with my MAY FLASH controller adapter because when I play without it, Dolphin runs fine for hours. I have tried reinstalling the drivers with Zadig and nothing is working. I have also tested many games so it is not just a one-game phenomena. I have also read that a version of windows could be causing the problem but I am not really sure. I am really desperate for help, if I can get this emulator to work well with my adapter it would make me happy, so if anyone can help me that would be much appreciated.

what is the recommended video adapter for dolphin??

does it really matter or dolphin just relies on processor and ram speed??

action replay codes?

hey everyone sorry to bother again, im having trouble using action replay codes on android.

i have set the enable cheats to true, created a "gamesettings" folder and placed it in the dolphin emu folder, placed the codehandler.bin and totaldb.dsy file in the dolphin emu folder as well.

for the cheats im playing gauntlet dark legacy and this is the format i have going.

in gamesettings folder i have the GUNE5D.ini file.

in said file i have

[ActionReplay]
$Player 1 inf health
4CB5B086 145629A9
[ActionReplay_Enabled]
$Player 1 inf health

exactly like that and nothing happens.

am i doing someone wrong? If anyone can help me i would appreciate it a lot lol.

Hello, i have a galaxy S6 with the following specs:

Exynos

Cores: 8
Frequencies: 400MHz - 1500MHz (OpenGL ES3.2 v1 with Vulkan support)
800MHz - 2100MHz

GPU: Mali-T760

RAM: 3GB LPDDR4 1550MHz

Android: 7.0

in my experience i think that should be enough to run gamecube games, however i cant make any emulator work properly, someone with more experience than i do in this field can please aid me with this issue?

Please help me !! I bought a galaxy s8 with processor exynos 8895 with GPU ARM MALI-G7 in it does not run the emulator the FPS drops to 5 and does not go out with any game does not run, but no galaxy S8 with processor snapdragon 835 normal wheel fix this please buy the cell phone then cause the emulator.

Hey, i'm trying to add the 60hz patch for Pal versions on Dolphin but it doesn't let me. This is the patch: "$Enable 60Hz Mode [Ralf]
0402C08C 38600000
041E7A28 00000014"

When i try to add it says "Error, unable to create patch from given values. Entry not modified." I tried to add it in all the formats, byte, word and dword but there's not case, it just won't work. Perhaps i'm doing it wrong and i have to install it differently?, if that's the case then i have no idea and i'd appreciate your help, thanks in advance!

Custom input display [looking for memory address]

Hi!  Big Grin

I'm looking to build a custom input display for dolphin emulator. I've gotten various node packages to assist me, including one that allows me to read and edit memory addresses of any application. Because of this, I'm wondering if there is a particular memory address in dolphin that updates every frame that I can use to ensure that the input display updates perfectly in-sync with the emulation.

...is there? that would be outstanding, for if so - I could integrate special tools into the display that allows for training regimes in games like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl/ProjectM. I've been searching for one with cheat-engine + dolphin's debug mode, but haven't been able to find anything in particular (other than one that updates every frame ONLY when I use the frame by frame feature in Dolphin's debug mode), so I'm wondering if anyone else has had any better luck.

Ubershaders was a huge feature release, followed by hybrid XFB.

Obviously there are many small game issues to resolve, etc., but in terms of "the next big thing", what would that be for dolphin?

Are there any further optimization efforts underway?  Back in 2015, there was a large amount of optimization done to the code, which really made dolphin much faster.

Hello,

So recently I have been messing around with the possibilities of the Dolphin emulator. Awhile back ago I learned how to mod games on my Wii U's Virtual Wii. I never really got too deep into modding on there and I knew I could do it. Recently I have been searching for ways to mod my games in the same way that I did on the Wii. I have seen Project M emulated on this emulator and the Homebrew Channel booting. I am currently looking to install CTGP, and ways to download and inject custom Mario Kart Wii tracks, and music into the game. I would also like to get knowledge on how to find and install mods that work for Dolphin. I want to be able to find a mod and know how to install it like how I could on Riivolution and Homebrew.

I have tried to boot the boot.elf files with all necessary files in the SD card. The Homebrew channel gives an "invalid write to" error while Riivolution and CTGP don't boot at all. I have heard that Homebrew was designed to crash dolphin, but I thought that was patched when it became open source. Maybe I have invalid info, but I have seen people do it. I have seen CTGP booted before as well for other people. I just cannot figure out how I can mod using these techniques and using other techniques as well. I have one mod currently installed and it was an ISO patcher. I have searched for my questions, but found no answer.

To sum it all up, I would like to learn how to mod my Wii games in general and have the knowledge and instructions to install mods on dolphin. Thanks in advance for your help.

wiimms Mario kart wii fun mac errors

So I have been lurking for weeks, trying to find a solution to this problem. Even the most recent posts i've seen have been ignored, and i just want to get this out there too.
My Mac terminal refuses to run the .sh files located in the package. I already tried porting to my wii and that didn't work, so i thought posting this here would get some advice. I have no experience in patching whatsoever and couldn't get any form of hack or content working on mariokartwii excluding the base game. Bonus points for whoever can guide me through a mac installation of wiimmifi.

Dolphin Settings for Highest Quality/Best Performance

I want to know what my settings in Dolphin should be to get the best quality and best performance out of my system. For example, which Backend should I use? V Sync? Which Internal Resolution (1080p monitor, but I don't know how well Dolphin downscales if I used a higher one), Anti Aliasing, AF, Ubershaders, Post-Proc?

My PC Specs:
i5 4690k 4.4GHz
16 GB RAM
EVGA SC GTX 1060 6GB
Samsung EVO 500GB
