Cheat search seems to be broken, basically

If I find an address in cheat search, the 'Lock' tickbox is greyed out, and if I right-click and choose 'generate Action Replay code', Dolphin crashes.

If I manually type in the code address and a value under Action Replay codes, it doesn't apply.

Big performance drop on Super Mario Sunshine since 5.0-6101

Hello everyone, I'm having an issue on Dolphin on Android, Super Mario Sushine was very playable on my HTC U11 on version 5.0-6096 default settings and Emulated CPU Clock Speed at 60% => (25-30FPS) but there has been a big performance drop since 5.0-6101 default settings and Emulated CPU Clock Speed at 60% => (15-20FPS) until the the latest Dolphin version 5.0-7161

I checked all the CPU and GPU default settings in 5.0-6096 and in 5.0-6101 and they are exactly all the same, I copied the Dolphin.ini file from 5.0-6096, then installed the 5.0-6101 and pasted the Dolphin.ini file in dolphin-emu/Config but there is the same huge performance drop

I have put one screenshot of Super Mario Sunshine FPS on version 5.0-6101 and one of Super Mario Sunshine FPS on version 5.0-6096

I already posted this message on https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/11053 but copying the Dolphin settings from 5.0-6096 to 5.0-6101 didn't change anything, isn't it the proper way to change the game INI settings ?

How to disable GC controllers for Wii games

$

So I just installed RetroPie on my Ubuntu 17.10 OS, and added the Dolphin emulator to RetroPie. It runs pretty well, but after configuring controllers Super Smash Bros Brawl stopped working correctly, as I had an emulated GC controller and an emulated Wii remote and Nunchuck patched to the same controller, and SSBB now has registered it as two players doing the exact same thing. Is there a way to turn off the GC emulated controller for the Wii games and turn it on for the GC games?

I have just installed 7168 and tried to play this game and the game simply won't run, I know my device can run it as it could run other games before.

It shows an error which I'm putting along the screenshot.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Character constantly moving to the right

I'm emulating a Wii game and using a ps3 controller to play. At first I thought it was my controller that wasn't working properly and I searched the forums looking for answers. I tried recalibrating it, and I tried increasing the deadzone. Nothing worked. I even remapped the controls to the second joystick, and that didn't work either. I then tried unplugging my controller.... but the character was still moving even with my controller unplugged.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

And update: just to test, I started a new game and the issue isn't working. It must be something wrong with my save file, but I've no idea how to fix it.

Future Perfect (USA) not running

Hello everyone,

So I've just gone through TS2 and wanted to go through Future Perfect again. If I remember correctly, I did actually do it with the USA version last time (G3FE69) and it worked correctly. Now it just gives me a black screen and never gets into the emulation state (doesn't show any yellow text indicating plugins and so on, no name of the game, no FPS in the title bar). The Europe version works flawlessly though. No problem on that front. I've checked if it was a bad ROM but it's not unfortunately. With the latest Dolphin version I can close the emulation without trouble, but with 5.0 stable, it loops with an error message of that type : "Invalid Write to 0x00000000, PC = 0x00000000" (can't remember what was in place of 0x00000000 though, if it's really important I can download 5.0 stable to try if you want).

Is it a known issue ? Does anyone have any idea ?

Thanks in advance Wink

Edit : Well the issue is much bigger =/ Though the Europe version (G3FP69) works, I can't seem to make it work any decently. I used to be able to run the game at stable 60 FPS with no stutter (at least during gameplay) at 2x or 4x native (unsure on 4x really). Now I'm at native and while I mostly get 60 FPS it's not constant and I have lots of stutters. Any changes to graphic settings can't seem to get rid of it. I'll try with 5.0 stable

Gamecube games crashes when re opened, and other qt bugs

Hey guys,
I noticed a bug with dolphin while I was messing with QT. when I load a gamecube game, stop the gamecube game, and start the same game again. Dolphin crashes with no error message. It does this no matter what graphics backend I use. it also seems to default back to 3d3 if I am using Opengl, and  Opengl if I am using 3d3, when I re open dolphin. Lastly, I can use Opengl, but my graphics card is missing from the options, I have a picture attached. Opengl runs fine, and it is running on my 1070, but it doesn't show up in the options menu.

PS. the games don't crash when re-opened if its a wii game, or if another gamecube game is chosen.
also if I choose a gc game, choose another gc game, and choose the first gc game, dolphin crashes.

PPS
I forgot to mention, these crashes only occur in qt, not wx
Just to make sure it wasnt my computer, I tested it on my other computer, this is definitely not my graphics card

The dolphin motion control driver workers very well with wiimote and sensor bar! Is there any way to apply the driver to, say, steam games? Alternatively can anyone send me a GlovePie script that uses the sensor bar and has a deadzone? Here is my current script... its ok (I didn't write the whole thing).

Converting GC saves to another region

$

Hello!

This is my first post here, so if I'm doing something wrong please don't hesitate to let me know. So, I'm emulating Mario Party 7 in Dolphin 5.0, and since I'm having some friends over, I would like to import a save file with everything unlocked so we can play all boards and such.

The problem is that my version of Mario Party 7 is PAL, and the only CGI file for Mario Party 7 that I've found is NTSC-U. I have tried a tool called GCConverter to change the region of the saved game, but when I load the converted CGI file with the GC memcard manager and start the game, it says that:

Quote:Data 1 is corrupted and couldn't be loaded.
The Mario Party 7 save data in Slot A is corrupted. Save file 2 must be deleted.
The Mario Party 7 save data in Slot A is corrupted. Save file 3 must be deleted.

So, could anyone help me with this? Is there another way to convert the CGI file to PAL, or to edit it somehow? I've attached the original CGI file and the file generated by GCConverter in case it helps.

Thanks!

Gameplay choppy with corrupted audio

$

Hi everyone, first of all I'm kind of a noob to this so feel free to correct me if I'm doing anything anything wrong.  Anyway, I'm having some trouble with Dolphin.  I've installed various GameCube and Wii games, and my problem here is that actual gameplay is choppy and the audio is messed up.  I've only tested the two GameCube games I have (on the Wii games I can't get past the menus because I don't have a USB sensor bar) but the situation is the same for each: The menus work fine but the gameplay itself is very laggy and the audio seems corrupted.  I initially tested Super Mario Sunshine (AR cheats enabled) and the game itself was nearly unplayable.  Corrupted textures and music, about 2 FPS and the game itself is slowed down a lot.  However, I turned off the AR cheats and gameplay slightly improved. (now I'm going to have to get ALL THOSE SHINES!) Meanwhile, I opened Double Dash (this time I only enabled ONE AR cheat) and once again, menus worked fine but gameplay was the same.  The AR cheats seem to be the primary cause of this, but I wondered if there's another way I could keep the AR cheats (GameCube games in general seem to have hard levels and I'd like to have more stuff unlocked, thank you very much) and change some settings so gameplay would improve a little.  I can provide a video showing the problem.

Additionally (I don't know if this contributes to the problem) I have Widescreen mods for both games.
