Having an issue with Dolphin 5.0 on Galaxy S8/Android 9 + Paper Mario:TTYD
Just to get this out of the way, I've only been fooling around with Dolphin and the idea of emulators for about two weeks now, so I'm terribly under-educated, despite crawling this forum in nearly every spare moment.
Basically, TTYD loads up perfectly, I get through the whole startup scene with Mario and Luigi, and then when it cuts to the boat on the ocean and the screen fades to white, the game stops and I'm thrown back to the Dolphin menu.
I've seen some other people reporting the same issue I'm having - I believe I read it pertains to the bonding boxes Paper Mario uses - which was solved in recent developer versions (though I'm not sure if they were on Android, Windows, or otherwise since it didn't seem to be mentioned). I've tried downloading several (at least 10) from the past few weeks, and each apk gives me an "App Not Installed" error.
I'm hoping I'll be able to get some suggestions here on either what I can do to get TTYD working, or what to do about this error, or both if possible.
Again, due apologies if the answer's out there and I wasn't able to find it, I've just been digging for 5 days on and off and I haven't found anything that seemed promising.

Unbanner won't run
I recently tried to use the Unbanner on my Dolphin folder without any luck. It produces two errors:
1.) MSVCR100.dll is missing
I checked my system 32 folder and it would appear to be there.
2.) Syntax command /?
I'm not sure what this means or how to fix it.
any help I can get with this would be amazing. Thank you

Dolphin crashed (crash report included)
I had dolphin minimized and emulation paused for a few hours while I watched TV, when I came back to it, unpaused it for a few minutes to watch a cut scene, saved state then clicked on the close window button, emulation stopped but the entire app exited and then a crash msg/report appeared. This is the report here for what it's worth. Maybe it'll help alleviate an issue.

How Do You Make The DolphinBar Work On Linux?
How does one make the DolphinBar work on Linux? Is there any commands or an application or driver I need to install?
I did try copying this text into my /etc/udev/rules.d/ directory and named the file 51-usb-device.rules but that did not work![Sad Sad]()
I also tried the DolphinBar on my old Windows computer and it did work in Dolphin when testing a Wii game.
I am using Linux Mint 19.1.

Very low performance in Linux Dolphin (CPU seems to be the bottleneck)
Hi!
I've installed Dolphin from the AUR and it seems to be really bottlenecked by my CPU. Dolphin ran perfectly in Windows, I was able to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 at 1080p with 2x SSAA just fine. I think it's a CPU issue since changing the internal resolution to 480p doesn't affect performance at all. If it was a GPU issue, performance would improve. I've posted my settings below. Is there a way to stop this bottleneck? I have an i5 6600k at 4.6GHz so it shouldn't be an issue.

XBox One S Controller Not Rumbling
I've tried this controller both over bluetooth and with a wired connection. In the wired connection, it's registered as an XInput device, and so it "sees" the motors, but hitting test doesn't work. When connected over bluetooth, it doesn't even have any motors listed. However, they are visible to the computer, as I downloaded a testing app that was able to make the rumble motors run in wired and BT modes. Any help on this?

Android usb controller not working properly
I am trying to use my usb 360 controller in dolphin and was able to map the buttons out, but seemingly since controllers can be used in the phone's ui for navigation it will not work in gameplay. The onscreen buttons work, but the physical controller will not, although the phone is very obviously recieving imputs from it. Is there a way to disable their use in menus to allow for actual gameplay, or am I missing drivers for it to work properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My phone is an s10e on the latest version of android and dolphin from the play store if that helps at all.

Just Dance 2019 softlocks on bootup when in Netplay
Well, the title kinda says it... if I try to run Just Dance 2019 from Netplay, it just stays at a blackscreen and doesn't boot. The Log is being spammed with "42:56:414 core\netplayserver.cpp:674 I[NETPLAY]: Got client message: 60" but nothing else happens. Is this a known issue? Just to be clear, if I don't use Netplay, the game runs 100% perfectly fine.
Here's the full log if you need it: https://pastebin.com/0gvqUvZi.
Thanks for your help.

F-Zero GX, gecko codes feezes game.
Hey there. I'm using the latest Dolphin, and the stable version, and it seems F-Zero GX has a problem with certain gecko codes. I used No HUD, and I get this message:
However I'm actually trying to get a different code working, it would be this one to get the game working on a 48:9 setup: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-widescreen-development-topic-archive?pid=410179#pid410179
In this case though, the emulator simply freezes on the first logo screen. However I've tried the same code on the Faster Melee emulator (not sure if it's 5.0 or 4.0 based) and it does give me the same error message (with different values as listed).
Not sure why, but no one has seemed to reported an issue like that. So I'm pretty lost...
I'm hoping someone will know, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!

Two player crashing dolphin everytime
For some months now, dolphin crashes everytime I plug my second controller in.
I have an Xbox 360 for PC pad most used, and a Saitek pad, model unknown.
Previously, they both worked fine, never had an issue. Then one day after an update, it just crashed everytime I ran Dolphin.
Now it seems to be that everytime a game is started the crash happens.
I know I should have reported this sooner so as to more easily identify the cause, but I just haven't had the time, apologies for that.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could solve this, my 7 year old son will be so happy that he can thrash me on Mario Kart once more!!!

Walkthru Create Multiple Profiles for Wiimote & swings using buttons
Reciently upgraded my phone and it gave me the chance to get off the PC version. I programmed in swing commands by pressing two buttons (z and + etc). Not only did I do this for one game no I did this for my collection. And each game used its own button profile ie: Mario's shake was "home" and Call of Duty "home" was the normal home button. But as for each game is different and you and I may not be playing the same games, It'll be demonstrated how I accomplished this. You're going to do the work. But it's going to work.
First download a text editor, I suggest Jota it works pretty good not great. But turning off the "save a backup" option turns it from pretty good, into yah it's good.
So let's get started..
The game needs its own settings file
1) press and hold the game cover art, select any option, save it, press and hold again and turn it back. Make note of the letters and numbers at the bottom that show up.
The directory that the file is in is
/dolphin-emu/GameSettings
Good that's done
Next step.
Start the game and change some sort of control setting. Then exit out, this will create a controller code rule for the game. File is and located at
/dolphin-emu/Config/profiles/wiimote/Wiimoteprofile.ini
Were going to open Jota now and load this Wiimoteprofile.ini file.
Here's the fun part. Scroll down. See where it says
swing/right = `Axis 1xx`
swing/left `Axis 1xx`
`Button 201` is button z
Looking at the top of the Jota page you'll see a whole list of `Buttons` and their corresponding push on the screen.
So to combine two at once. Do it like this
Swing/Left = `Button 100` & `Button 201`
For standard swings and pokes
Swing/Down = (`Button 102` & `Button 201`) | (`Button 201` & `Button 102`)
Swing/Right = (`Button 201` & `Button 102`) | (`Button 102` & `Button 201`)
For diagonal cuts
Shake/X = `Button 104`
Shake/Y = `Button 104`
Shake/Z = `Button 104`
Save the edited file as the games name.
now in Jota browse to and open the custom settings file that we made in step 1.
The command to have the controller file opened needs to be entered as following.
At the line before [DSP]
write
[Controls]
WiimoteProfile1 = (enter the name no .ini)
Save the file and you're done. Happy gaming y'all.
