Recently I decided to clone the source code and compile it (At the time it was version 5.0-14002) rather than rely on one of the outdated packages on the apt repository and it has been amazing so far, all the features I want to work do so along with some new features that I hadn't seen. Despite this I currently have an issue with the emulator, whenever I open up a game in dolphin and shut it down after, The process continues to sleep indefinitely until I either manually kill it or when its killed by me shutting down my computer. This isn't a grave error by any means but it is quite annoying to shut down your computer just to be greeted with 'A program is still running' prompting me to click 'Shut Down Anyway' because I'm sure that nothing important is going on with that process (I might be wrong). If anyone could give me answers that would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! Im brand new to the texturing of GameCube games, I started my project one hour ago.
I’m working on a texture mod for Mario Kart Double Dash, I’m curious what software i should use to edit the characters. Characters are obviously "flattened" when opening the files with a photo editor, what software should i use to easily edit and preview characters?
Is there maybe a guide somewhere on how to edit gamecube textures?

Question and maybe request regarding Shaders
Is it possible somehow, to add a custom Shader to Android Dolphin, and how?
there is a shader folder in my Android/ShieldTV installation of Dolphin,
but when i grab any own edited .glsl Shader from windows/desktop Version
and copy it there, it won't be recognized
I want to add a Zoom widescreen shader for letterboxed GC games
as described here,

to play Resident Evil 4 GC in full widescreen.
I do not really have the knowledge, so maybe you kind Devs could add

PS4 Controller detected in setting but not in game
Hello to all,
Today I have a small problem, I'm trying to play Zelda Ocarina of time using the virtual wii remote with the classic controller extension (for dev reasons etc) but in the controller options, when I bind the keys, I've tried to remove port 1 to avoid conflicts but nothing works, I asked a developer called Admentus who can't find the solution and plays like this.
If anyone has the solution, I'd love to have it.

Bluetooth Passthrough with Orico BTA-508 dongle
Hello!
I got myself a real Wii Remote + Nunchuk and an Orico BTA-508 (not 503) dongle for use with Dolphin. They arrived today and, while connecting the remote by Emulating the Wii Bluetooth Adapter works as expected, Bluetooth Passthrough does not. I really wanted the speaker to work properly, so I'm sad having to settle with the emulated option.
Here's a rundown of what I've tried:
- Replaced driver using Zadig (tried both libusbk and WinUSB)
- Enabled BT Passtrough in Dolphin settings
- Started a game (no error message about not detecting a usable device, so Dolphin does see it. Log shows correct VID and PID)
- Pressed the red button on the back of the remote then clicked "Sync" in Dolphin; also tried in reverse order (log doesn't show any errors after "faking 'sync button pressed'")
- Blue lights on remote blink, but it doesn't pair and eventually just times out and stops blinking.
Could anyone help me with this, so I can at least be sure whether it's the dongle or something else?

On screen keyboard problems for disabled person
Hi, I'm a quadriplegic (paralyzed from the shoulders down) who can control my mouse cursor with the motion of my head and click by biting a switch. I rely on an on screen keyboard to play emulators, which is where my problem exists. I have had success with gb, gba, ds, and 3ds emulators, but can't get dolphin to recognize my inputs in-game. I have checked the background input button in the main settings as well, but no luck.
I'm running Dolphin 5.0-14095 on Windows 10. I would really like to expand my gaming into the gamecube platform, but I need help. Thanks in advance!

Something broke since 5.0-14214 (Android)
Currently, I only noticed a strong performance drop in one game "Need for Speed -Most Wanted" (GameCube). From a normal stable 50 to 60, the frame rate dropped to 20 to 30. The game also crashes at startup from time to time.
The problem has not yet been fixed with the latest version.
Logs are attached. If you need more information, feel free to ask me. In other games, the performance does not seem to have worsened.

120fps new super mario bros wii?
I've been looking into higher fps versions of games for dolphin. So far I've only heard of smash games getting higher fps tweaks. I was wondering if someone had made or discovered a 120fps version of new super mario bros wii?

Snapdragon 810 vs Kirin 950
My previous phone Honor 8 FRD-L09 was powered with Kirin 950, throttled very much (during the first 2-3 minutes of gameplay the game NFS Carbon Wii was quite playable, and then it become like a slideshow). Will the Snapdragon 810 be the same?

Official Wii U Adapter on OS X Big Sur
I am having trouble getting my Gamecube to USB adapter to work with dolphin, or at all for that matter. I have installed the drivers that they recommend on the official guide https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/how-use-official-gc-controller-adapter-wii-u/
I am wondering if there's anything else I can do to fix the compatibility? I am running Dolphin 5.0 on the latest version of OSX Big Sur.

How to properly update from 5.0 stable
I wanted to update from the most recent stable release 5.0 and wondered how I should go about updating.
Newer versions seem to have an auto update function but the stable release is still missing it.
Should I just download a dev/beta release and unzip the contents into my current Dolphin install folder while replacing files?

Dolphin Emulator on Oneplus 8 pro [Controller mapping issue]
I had been been using dolphin for a few years on my Galaxy Note 8 with my Gamesir G4 controller. It had been working okayish since the phone lacked the specs to run it in complete smoothness but it did job. Now i recently bought Oneplus 8 pro and installed Dolphin emulator in it too. And now the major issue im currently facing is that i can't seem to map my control stick, right stick and d pad in the gamecube input (emulated), other buttons work just fine and are mapped easily except for the sticks and d pad. I thought it was a controller issue, and retried it on my note 8 but it works just fine in that. Kindly help me get over this hurdle. Hoping to hear from someone soon.

Pokemon Battle Revolution
So, I'm trying to run PBR and it runs. But the sounds skips, so does the video. And the video quality is NOT great

Intel i7-8750
I don't think I should really be having any problems with the specs I have, but if there's a way I could get it to skip less and so that the graphics aren't terrible I would appreciate it
(also if there's a way so that the wii remote cursor stays with my mouse would be cool also)

J'ai telechargé aujourd'hui cette version et j'ai configuré les commandes avec la manette xbox 360. Quand je le faut, il répond, tout va bien. Mais une fois un jeu lancer (rogue leader ou rebel assaut) aucune réponse. Impossible de sauter les cinématiques, rien. Pourtant la configuration des controles semble la même sur l'ancienne version de dolphin.
